TRINGG TRINGG TRINGG
The bell sounded again but none of the students actually got up in till the teacher finished.
"But no one actually knows how Mana and humans got into contact with each other."
The teacher sighed and released the students,"Anyways off you go to your second period."
The students filtered out; you could hear someone pushing and shoving and saying excuse me's while rushing all the way to Oliver's positions. Damien seemed desperate as he got closer and closer. Oliver was at the door way, when Damien reached out to grab Oliver forearm— there was a second when Damien's hand 'fazed' through Oliver.
The forearm part that Damien grabbed seemed to fade out to black static, in till Damien pulled away to look at his own hand that Oliver's arm slowly appeared to normal. Oliver turned around and angrily pushed Damien, "Don't fucking touch me!"
Damien did not really get pushed as his body compared to Olivers was bigger and more muscular, nor did he pay much attention to Olivers words. He looked at his hand, but decided to pay attention to Oliver.
"Oliver, please, I just want to talk, I don't want to fight, please…" Damien begged
But Oliver did not pay any mind, his eyes set with determination against listening. They were traveling in a empty hallway due to the bell already ringing for second period, and the other random students did not want to be part of this so they dispersed to another hallway.
It was unknown to Damien where Oliver was going, so Damien quietly herded Oliver into a hallway that was away from prying eyes- and cornered Oliver with both of his hand set on both sides of Olivers head.
"Please, talk to me, I know it is all my fault, but please, please, dont cut me off from your life." Damien pleaded as if he was talking to some deity; falling to his knees hugging Olivers waist with both arms- holding on for his life.
Damien's long hair was like a spider web, sticking to everything, and was all over the place and managed to touch the ground due to it being so long and straight. Oliver picked up a strand absentmindedly and eventually dropped it and looked into Damiens pleading eyes.
Oliver grasped Damiens face and looked at his facial features.
When Damien was a child, he was the definition of a personified candy. He had a cute button nose, small lips, and wide eyes that was the color of a non cloudy sky. Damien was always up to no good, but everyone loved him. But now as an adult all that is the direct opposite now. Damiens features opened up and became heroic. He had a long nose, almond shaped eyes that seemed to flirt indirectly, and slim lips that looked kissable- Oliver could not recognize him anymore.
This moment of silence gave Damien some hope, and his eyes actually had a happy glint to them.
Oliver cleaned the stray hairs off of Damiens face, and pushed Damien.
Damien landed with a thud and looked up shock; he looked like a kicked puppy. His whole body was on the ground with his arms supporting him up. He looked up at Oliver; his eyes wide and needy for attention and some sort of olive branch that would let him speak to Oliver.
Oliver quickly runs off, almost scampers off, like a drenched rat.
Oliver somehow managed to get to the rest of his classes without major punishment. It was already dusk, and Oliver was more then happy to go back to his little room.
The school was still very lively with the street lamps still on and club registration booths still set up to recruit the fresh fishies (freshmen) into their club. No one really approached Oliver as he was very slim and did not seem to have the strength to do anything. Their was much needed silence around Oliver in till a very preppy taller girl approached Oliver.
"Hey! Would you like to attend the adventure club????"
This reply was met with silence as Oliver observes her janky set up. Their was not even a table, as she uses a little bench to make due. On the little bench theirs flyers, pins, and flags that seemed to be hand made, and the art kinda terrible.
The girl nervously laughed and shuffled into his line of sight; making Oliver look up at her.
"You're new to this campus right?? Joining this club will not only just get you introduced to this campus, but you get to explore outside of this campus you know??"
The unknown girl grasped his hands, "Please, please, please, join, because this year the council are planning on closing this club down!"
She dramatically gasped and hugged Oliver, (which she slightly picked up and he kicked he legs a little bit), and brought Oliver down to the ground.
"I only need three more members-"
"Okay, whatever, I'll join."
"Wait, really you were that easy to persuade?"
"Are you calling me easy?"
"NO, NO, NO, itsjustthatithoughtyouwouldneedmorepersua—"
Oliver sighed and ruffled his untamed black hair,"when is the first meeting?"
The athletic brunette giggled nervously,"That's the thing..... we need more members if we are going to hold a meeting!"
Silence surrounded both of them.
"By the way, what is your name?"
"Oh my name is Natasha!"
"It's six pm, and from what I heard, advertising ends in three days."
Silence surrounded them once again.
Natasha laughed gleefully," Yeah, I know that!" While scratching her head.
Oliver slapped his face.
"Look its getting late, is their somewhere I could meet you up tomorrow?"
Natasha flipped over one of her pamphlets and wrote down with a pen," It's going to be in the abandoned west wing room 201… It wont be hard to miss since its the only presentable room in the whole building!"
Oliver sighed and put away the pamphlet; he nodded at her and walked away.
"Dammit I forgot to have him sign the registration form!"
