The anger that emanated from his eyes made Seraphina flinch with each step she took. She couldn't believe her eyes as she witnessed the depth of his envy.

His jaw was clenched, and every muscle in his body was taut. The sight was incredibly frightening for her.

She had never seen someone so enraged, especially in the presence of the queen.

While she was Jane, she had encountered numerous individuals angry about her decisions or her mother's choices, but it was the first time she witnessed a prince expressing such anger towards his own mother.

It was evident not only to her but also to Isabella.

Therefore, both Sera and Isabella left the room without uttering a single word.

They bowed to the queen and exited.

As Sera bowed, she could perceive the pain in the queen's eyes. It was the anguish of a mother weeping for her son. Queen Matilda concealed something deep and profound, and Sera could sense it.
