" As things go, this is some of the more interesting choices i've been given yet thus far. "
Aldritch exclaimed while pondering for a moment - but he was completely immersed in such things now.
So after weighing all three of options - it became increasingly obvious inclined for picking the third one.
To give some brief explainations, while the first one would add to his arsenal of offensive capabilities and he does have some decent charisma stats,
It didn't feel like a something he would use or be capable of using at his current level.
In other words - a dead weight if you will it.
The second one while intriguing and definitely could solve his issue of being a fragile physique class,
It wasn't worth risking his choice over, since he didn't have such good impression of Sirens and he doubted that his summon would appeciate him being a siren too.
That's just how the nature of things - But to make up for it, the third skill would definitely be the dark horse of this bunch.
If he already has a surveillance - then this skill would be his communication, a complimentary skillset that he was looking for that will assist him for a long while.
If his army going to compose of eldritch creatures - why not just take the skill that just synergize with it?
With that logic sounded - Aldritch chose his first Erudite skill in this world.
With his chaotic vision changing to match the former scenery he had been looking at before - except it wasn't.
The once magical paradise of the forest became a warzone and depressing gore piling upon hundreds of Sirens that rivals that of many hellish sights in the book of relevation,
The spines entangled with rotting tissues that covered the bushes, the innards hanging on the trees similiar to party-banner but insanity inducing.
' A hell on paradise '
That's what a sane human could describe as in a coherent sentence.
The Slayer in amist of the carnage glanced back at the 'Leviathan' noticing his return to the concious world.
He didn't grunt or even utter a word - the Slayer merely walked away from that hell screen to the destination that were the center of those mountainious islands.
**
*Thunk*
*Plunk*
The stillness and deaden silence of the two that has traversed through the watery lake - displayed a serious and a common understanding of the mood.
The island was decorated with bones of wide range of beasts and creatures and the brooding nulity only intensified the odditity with the place - Aldritch was undergoing a tangled impression and frowned internally.
' This is out of place, for what i known about the sirens '
If it's up to him, he would obviously describe this as a dangerous trap,
Adding the fact his 'surveillance ability' failed to detect the wave of sirens is another variable that he could draw a conclusion that perhaps a higher power is at play here.
Jigmeh paying heed to his situation - while he did not doubt the 'Leviathan', the sirens were acting in a more intelligent manner.
Pushing forward all the same - He was the Slayer of Monsters, fearing a fight would akin to betraying himself and what he stood for all this time.
His mother and men are expecting his return and he will answer their call.
Treading lightly upon the sandy ground apropos to a gigantic maw underground - that's where the final hideout of his enemies are.
With no fear in sight - The Slayer plunged down into the gaping abyssal maw,
Followed by the silent companion whom has no mortality nor attachment to this world.
**
An echo roused throughout the entire den of hollow - As the Slayer sense the stone block beneath his leather boot,
It was for certain this was created by an intricate craftsmanship by the sirens, he presumed.
With careful deliberation, encroaching upon the gloomy hallway where no sprightliness could be heard nor found,
Only bones and instrument of tortures that were left in history.
He held steadfast and incapable of losing his wits and focus - he was ready to pounce on any who dare to challenge him head-on.
But that was a mere conjucture as he arrived at what-to-be a prison bars - consequently he snuff out a glimpse upon presence in one of them.
" Dear Jigmeh! Please save my father, t-the sirens are going to execute him! "
The booming and sorrowful remark seemingly belong to a young woman who were blond and looks like a belle in european culture - her clothes in tatters and overall messy hair.
" I will save him, wait here - it may perhaps pose a danger to you. "
The Slayer consoled his fiancee and softly asked for her patience, as he wished not to endanger his own people during his battle.
" N-no, i'll be all right - i need to see with my own eyes if my father is in good health! "
Julie rebuked him hastily with no end to her persistence - Aldritch was somewhat amazed that Jigmeh has such a fiancee...
" ...Stick close to me, do not let your guard down. "
Jigmeh surrendered to her request, because time waits for no one and her father may protentially be in-danger and he didn't wish for his relationship to soured due to it.
" It's okay...i'll watch your back. "
Julie softly replied with a smile - perhaps she had bounced back to her cheerfulness after being assured by the Slayer?
' Nah, i'm feeling disgust at this. '
Aldritch muttered and were experiencing some ominious premonition - perhaps he felt jealous that his position was taken by some nobody he had met for only 3 minutes?
No, there has to be something else - but he couldn't deny the possibility that he might have had some personal bias in it.
*popping*
A singular torch to light the way - the trio marches to descend down the stairway that lead to the bottom floor.
A viking that keep his guard afloat wary of any ambushes that comes from the vanguard.
A beautiful housewife that bespoke of the tales that the viking has accomplish,
Leveling a mountain, defeating a sea serpent in recent time and even becoming the mightest fighter in the village.
A shadowy-bored Aldritch transpire a sense of boredom while walking at this point, he just wanted to finish this quest post-haste at this state.
**
" I've track him down, Julie. The gods haven't abandoned him yet!"
The torch that was flickering in the darkness - luminating a trivial area, yet i have discovered her father and called upon her,
He was chained onto the wall with a room built wide and tall enough that rival any monstrous-size beast.
Natheless, i couldn't afford to wait any longer - my mother is waiting for me and so i approach the cage without the restraint of my thoughts.
As though my body had fatigued and a part of me went cold, i leaned back at my waist...
It was drawing blood and a dagger that did the deeds.
*Slit!*
"RAAAAAAH"
A tenable variable as struck as his towering body lowered akin to a Cyclop in the famous adventure,
The viking groaning fury and entropy, A betrayal of highest order that the Aesir abhor the most!
The Slayer placed his sight upon the one who betrayed him - His fiancee but her eyes wasn't that of a human,
That forsaken pupils.
It's a siren!
A screech from his back affirm this theory - as there were two sirens in this room and only himself in the darkness, a wounded waist and last ounce of torch.
At the same time, an irresponsible summoner who just happens to wake up from his boredom, realized the severity of this predicament.
" Uh, my bad. "
Aldritch scratches his head in shame and dishonor, as gritted his teeth awaiting the two perpetrator to make their move.
