Startled by the sudden shift, Agatha backend away, "You are shameless. Just minutes ago, you wanted to divorce me; now, you are trying to sleep with me. That's not going to work." Agatha spoke in a strict tone, folding her arms over her chest.
"Is it?" Agatha wondered at Laila's comment. In a woman's life marriage is supposed to be the most important thing. While they were prepared for the wedding, no one prepares them for the aftermath of marriage. You are just left to figure it out on your own.
"If you ignore the parts you don't like, it is. But we humans can't ignore the things we dislike." Laila remarked, lowering her head with a sad smile.
"Maybe if we learn to be happy in those imperfections we might be in a happy marriage like our parents, don't you think?" Laila asked, glancing at Agatha with a soft smile plastered on her lips.
