"What about Adrien and Lilac?" Xavier asked.
Agatha gave a suspicious glare at his question but decided to answer,"They are an exception. You shouldn't compete against our children."
"That depends on you." Xavier teased her, nibbling on her neck.
Startled by the sudden shift, Agatha backend away, "You are shameless. Just minutes ago, you wanted to divorce me; now, you are trying to sleep with me. That's not going to work." Agatha spoke in a strict tone, folding her arms over her chest.
"Maybe if we learn to be happy in those imperfections we might be in a happy marriage like our parents, don't you think?" Laila asked, glancing at Agatha with a soft smile plastered on her lips.
Agatha wondered the same but as soon as she noticed Xavier already left the room. "I will be right back." Agatha excused herself from the hall, and hastened her steps towards the room Xavier was staying in.
