There we go let's follow this trail. I walked a few steps and saw a wolf devour my prey. Oh, so that is the cycle of life. I couldn't kill my prey and then some other thing took it. Well, at least it brought me to a wolf. I ran at the wolf after sneaking a little closer to it.
It got spooked and froze for a second. It tried dropping its meal but after realizing I was close it tried running. Nope, I was too sneaky for the wolf! I stabbed it with my blade and with a little force! The clay sword made it through the fur of the wolf.
With this, I was able to kill three demonic beasts in a couple of minutes. I checked the status of the skill and it did count the child boar as a kill. I got so much to do but I will prevail and upgrade this skill. Wait a message appeared in my status menu.
My weapon enhancement skill is telling me to allow my rare spear to absorb the corpses of weapons. Oh, yeah! This skill allows me to clean things up easier. I mean it also makes the weapon stronger.
All I care about is not having to burn the corpses. If it absorbs it instantly. I would save time and energy. Let's find out. I take the spear from my back and stabbed the tip into the wolf. It wasn't instantly but in a few seconds, the wolf's corpse was gone.
I put the tip near the boar and in a few seconds gone. The blood was still there. Except the corpse was gone. I also don't think my spear is any heavier. This is amazing. I am glad I spent so much on that skill pill now.
I went deeper into the woods but after an hour of slaying beasts, I got tired. I have slayed 17 wolves and 13 boar. I am tired and sweating too much. I didn't let the spear absorb all the corpses. I left one boar corpse. I cut off the tusks and took the good parts of the meat.
