Ryan rubbed his temple, stressed out.
"I'd like to be alone, Natasha. Please take Jonah and leave."
The little boy, Jonah, blinked his eyes. "Father, are you mad at mother?" He could see the frown on Ryan's face, which was something he had never glimpsed before when he was around his mother.
Ryan took a deep breath. "It is not like that, Jonah. Your mother and I just had a little misunderstanding. We will sort it out later, okay?" He forced himself to smile.
Jonathan was not entirely sure if he was telling the truth, but he decided to believe him. "Mother, let's go."
Natasha gazed at Ryan. Of course, she didn't want to leave until she managed to change Ryan's mind, but from the looks of things, it did not seem possible that morning.
With a deep sigh exiting her mouth, she turned around and left the room with Jonathan.
