In the depths of slumber, a dream did unfold,
Where I faced my innerself, a story untold,
Tears streamed down, emotions running deep,
As you whispered, "I'll never let you weep."
Amidst shadows that threatened to dim my light,
I pleaded, "Don't leave me here alone in the night,"
But alas, it was a dream, fleeting and unreal,
For all that's dead and gone, tonight I must feel.
As I woke from that dream, the clock striking midnight,
Sobs escaped, emotions bursting, an overwhelming sight,
The remnants of that vision, a bittersweet ache,
A testament to the depths of love we cannot forsake.
So, I let the tears flow, embracing the release,
Navigating the pain, finding solace and peace,
For dreams may come and go, but within me they reside,
Reminders of the emotions I can no longer hide.
