Chapter 28 - 22. Golden Hair Doll (L)

Lidya and Camel entered the city barracks.

The bright light illuminating the entire barracks gave a different atmosphere from the places they had entered before. If the previous places were usually lit by torchlight or even none at all. This barracks seemed to be illuminated by another source. For Camel, this was strange, but for Lidya, she knew what it was. It was the light of an electric lamp.

Lidya was slightly confused to find out that this city had lighting like this kind. Maybe there was indeed, but it was expensive. So thought the grim-faced girl, but her mind still couldn't accept it. If indeed the lights in this world were expensive, then the throne room should use the same technology given how important a count was.

Walking further inside, Lidya didn't find anything interesting. There were only armor, clothes, and soldier helmets left behind. Some swords were also left hanging on the racks as if they had no owner.

Ascending to the second and last floor, Camel walked a bit faster ahead. He tried to press his ear against a door in a room.

"Are you going to do it?"

"Let me go!"

"No(evil laughter)! I will make you dirty and make your husband cry in front of me!"

Camel's blood boiled upon hearing that. He immediately burst into the door and shouted, "I won't let you defile my lady!"

However, when inside, he didn't find the person he was looking for.

What was in the room was an elegant and beautiful woman. Her hair flowed covering the back of the chair she sat on. Sipping tea with her lipstick-red lips, she smiled and turned towards Lidya and Camel.

"Ahahaha, fools!"

*Bang!

The door instantly closed, separating Camel and Lidya.

"Camel, be careful! I'll open it soon!" Lidya said from outside. She was worried that the person who would lead her to the truth might be killed here.

"Are you alone now, sis?!" but, right after she warned Camel. Right behind her, a girl called out to her cheerfully.

Lidya slowly turned around. As she looked around the room, she felt like she had been taken to another world. There were no longer stone walls around her. All that was there was a fleshy wall that encircled like an arena between her and the little girl calling her.

In the middle of the fleshy-walled room, a girl around the age of 10(loli) with long blonde hair to her back stood in front of her. The girl wore a red ribbon tied behind her head and wore a white and black dress(like a goth girl).

"I see my opponent is a child..." Lidya said with a sarcastic smile. She did feel the great danger from the little girl. She was trying to test her abilities first. She wanted to know how strong the person in front of her was.

"How dare you call me a child!" The girl objected. Her facial expression when she said that looked so cute in Lidya's eyes. However, she wouldn't be fooled by that face. She had seen many fake faces of people, including her own.

"You really a child, aren't you?" Lidya looked around, there were only fleshy walls here. "...(Smiling) So this is the illusion you created? Impressive...! Impressive!" she praised.

"This isn't an illusion! This is reality! I turned this room into a flesh arena!"

Good, she got free information from the girl. She tried roasting her again, this time with a mocking smile. "What else can you do besides this? You're so useless if this is all you can do."

"I still have sound illusions! I can make sounds like earlier. Your friend easily fell into my sound illusion and ended up separated from you(jumping and laughing)!"

"So that's how it is, huh?"

Lidya felt sorry for the girl in front of her. She was so terrifying if used wisely and secretly. Unfortunately, her mentality was not enough. She just wanted to look cool in front of others regardless of leaking everything.

Lidya began to worry about Camel. If the girl in front of her now was the one who did it, then the elegant woman who might be her mother had different abilities from what Camel knew.

Forget about Camel, Lidya had to think about herself first. She still didn't know what would happen if she died.

"Tentacle attack!"

Without a word, the girl suddenly attacked. Lidya's wrists were tied by tentacles, making her unable to hold her staff.

"Do you think you can defeat me even though you know everything? Don't be foolish, I'm not that weak!"

The girl walked closer to Lidya, who was entangled in tentacles. She came with a satisfied smile on her face, indicating she had a weird fetish.

"Miss, you are pretty, but unfortunately, your vile face ruins it. No matter, because I will change it quickly."

The girl tried to grab Lidya's body.

But just as the unpleasant thing happened. A hand grabbed the girl's head like a handleless cup.

"Graghh!" the girl was surprised. Right in front of her. Lidya with a grim face released herself from the tentacle's snare. She didn't seem to have made any extra effort to escape from the thick snare.

"What are you doing? How could this happen?"

"Now I'm grateful to have a suspicious friend (Micah)." for the first time, Lidya spoke since meeting the girl. She seemed to have been waiting for this moment since the little girl chattered.

Fortunately, Micah's suspiciousness that stuck to Lidya's ears during the journey made her paranoid. She had prepared many protections in case unwanted things happened to her and her friend.

*Bang!

Lidya threw the girl like a baseball.

"Gyahhh!" The little girl hit the fleshy wall.

The wound on her body disappeared in seconds after hitting the wall.

"Miss is really shameless. How dare you throw a little girl?!" As usual, her annoyance sounds cute.

"Sorry, okay? Miss is very mean. That's why you have to kill this evil girl!" once again Lidya provoked the loli. This time she didn't try to take information. She just tried to finish the fight quickly.

"If you want it, die!"

The little girl ran forward. She kicked Lidya in the stomach.

*Ctang!

Quickly, Lidya held back the kick with her staff.

Not stopping there, the little girl immediately turned her body and performed a spinning kick to continue her previous attack.

This time Lidya was slower.

Her waist was kicked and she felt an incredible pain. Lidya couldn't even believe that what was in front of her was a little girl. Her body was too strong for a 10-year-old girl.

Lidya doesn't even think that this girl is a martial arts expert.

The girl continued her kicks several times.

In the midst of a battle that should have been a battle between magic users turned into hand-to-hand combat, Lidya began to think of a way out. If she continued to be in this position, she would be finished. She hoped to get an idea.

"I... Hear that... Miss... Is a mage... But why... Miss... Joining the rebels?!" the girl asked while kicking.

What she questioned was the same as what the captain asked. Why would mages join the rebels was something unnatural for them.

Lidya became more determined to suspect the rebel's intentions. She became more aware of how much she needed to raise her own flag right now. Without depending on the rebel side or the containment side.

Lidya put on a mocking smile. She looked down at the girl in front of her like looking at a pile of garbage.

"You know, little girl? Sooner or later you will see it. Our real plan." Lidya said with a scornful tone. She stopped dodging and parrying. She accepted every kick from the girl.

This didn't make the girl happy. The girl started to suspect her opponent's intentions.

"What are you trying to do?!" she exclaimed, raising her hand to cast a spell, "Tentacle Swing!"

Several tentacles emerged from the fleshy wall. The tentacles shot towards Lidya and attacked her without any intention of entangling her. This time the little girl wouldn't be fooled.

Lidya, who became the target, just stood there and smiled, showing her dominance. She was not injured at all by each of the tentacles tearing her skin.

"Magic without spelling?! Who are you really?!"

The little girl's eyes trembled. She began to be afraid of Lidya's existence, who hadn't even done anything since the tentacles began to attack.

The girl used Sense Satusus to see everything. This time she became even more afraid and disbelieving, "Commoner? Level 1? Is this a lie? I, who am level 50, lose to level 1? Why can you already use magic without spelling?!"

*Bang!

Right after she asked, an ice block flew right next to her.

"You will know, maybe tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or next week..."

Slowly but surely, Lidya walked towards the girl. She looked at the girl with a gaze full of pity. She couldn't bear to beat the little girl (even though she just threw this loli against the wall).

"Sleep..." Lidya said soothingly.

The girl suddenly lost consciousness and fell to the floor.

As a result of the girl's defeat, the circular room with fleshy walls instantly disappeared and turned into a barracks corridor with stone walls as before.

Lidya immediately turned around and forcibly opened the door with her magic staff. The strong seal that blocked the door shattered instantly upon contact with Lidya's magic staff.

"Camel!" Lidya shouted as she opened the door.

She saw a strange sight in front of her. Right in front of her, Camel was tied up by ropes, his eyes covered with a black cloth, a ball was placed at his mouth, and his clothes (only her top) removed.

"???" Lidya didn't understand what was in front of her. But she felt a similarity. "Mother and daughter are just the same!"

What was in front of her was actually an S&M game. Where Camel became the M and S was the elegant woman.
