Chapter 13 - Side 3. Micah, Rudi, Lidya, dan Doris

"Urghhh!" Lidya woke up from her faint.

She woke up in one of the rooms of the empty house they had tidied up yesterday. Her vision was still blurry and dark. She wasn't fully conscious yet.

But her instinct called and told her that she needed to get out of that empty room immediately. Her instinct told her that she had to meet someone outside.

Walking out of the room, heading towards the exit of the house. Outside, she found a torch-lit outside the house where Doris lived.

'I have to go there!' Lidya's instinct made her walk towards that small house.

From close, she could hear a conversation between Rudi, Micah, and Doris. What they were discussing wasn't small talk, but something important for their future.

"So, where should we go?" Rudi's voice came from behind the window.

"From my observation of current situations, go to Burk City, there you will meet the brother of Duke Asena, Ingro an Thor." From his serious and sharp tone, Lidya realized that Doris was the owner of that voice.

"Oi, oi! Hold on! To Burk City, the city where the duke's brother rules? Isn't that kind of suicide? Are you trying to betray us and sell us to the enemy?! After everything we've done?! You trash!" No need to explain whose voice it was, no one spoke so roughly except Micah here.

Doris just fell silent, staring sharply at Micah. There was no sign that he would argue against the boy's argument.

"The duke's brother is against him!" he continued.

Lidya was slightly impressed because Doris was no longer affected by Micah's toxic and considered it normal.

"Against him? So? Is there a rebellion?!" Micah tried to guess.

"(Nodding)... And I'm sure, you three and even this village are already in his watch."

"What do you mean?" (Rudi)

"He's different from the others. He doesn't use Sense Status to judge someone. He uses someone else's eyes to do it! Even, if you're really lucky, then he will use his own eyes to test you."

"So, should we help this Ingor guy or whatever his name it is to take the throne?" Micah began to look around the room, nodding. His face seemed to show a other motive than understanding and being willing to follow that advice.

"There is nothing wrong to try, right, Micah?" Rudi gave a sharp look as if he knew Micah's intention from his earlier nod.

"Let's see, whether he will really give what we want or not. If yes, then we follow! But~!" He pointed at Rudi. "But if not... Oh (smiling crazily)... He's done for!"

Rudi and Doris knew the meaning of that smile. A smile that had a desire to destroy anyone who intended to block his path.

In the middle of the silence of that argument, "Don't forget, there's a possibility that if that person says 'yes', but will betray us after his goal is achieved," Lidya entered with the same sharp gaze as them.

"Oh, you're awake? How does Floria's punch feel?" Micah mocked.

"It hurts a lot (crossing her arms while closing her eyes)..."

"Forgive my sister, she's always like this." (Doris)

"Back to the conversation! Are we going to Burk City, right?" Lidya walked towards the three men. "If so, then I hope you know how to contact the person named Igor!"

"Uh... His name is Ingor!" (Micah)

"Ingro, Ingro an Thor!" Doris held his forehead.

"What's that, if he's as you say. His eyes are everywhere, then we should be able to meet 'him', right?"

Doris nodded. he stood up and walked towards the window where Lidya had eavesdropped earlier. He looked outside. There was a river surrounded by a bunch of trees in the middle of a desert and dry land.

"I'm not sure 100%, but I know when you're at that river (pointing towards the river with a bunch of trees). I'm sure you'll find 'him'."

"A river, huh?" Rudi rubbed his chin. He began to stare in the same direction indicated by Doris.

"He won't miss this opportunity! He'll definitely ask you to join! Whatever the price!" (Doris)

The three youths stared at that river. Their gaze locked and focused on that place. They had their next destination. Burk City, where Count Ingro an Thor live.

"Can I make sure of something?" Micah suddenly raised his hand. "What does this Ingor guy look like?"

"Ingro! Ahh (sighs)..." Doris seemed to be giving up. "He's uh... I don't know... No one has seen him since the rebellion started."

Lidya's eyes widened with curiosity when she heard about the duke's brother. "No one has? Is he some kind of person who works behind the scenes?" Lidya asked.

"Hmm (nodding), all the chaos happening in several locations in this country is because of his orders."

The three of them were shocked to hear that.

"Is he that terrible?!"

"Rumors say so, no one knows the truth for sure..." (Doris)

Instantly, the three of them looked disappointed at Doris.

"Tch! Just rumors!" Micah walked out of the house feeling annoyed.

"Micah, where are you going?!" Rudi shouted.

"Preparing to go to the river! I don't want to just sit around and believe in rumors!"

"Ugh!" with frustration, Doris ran after the angry young man. "Micah, wait! Please, don't go now!"

Micah stopped and faced the prospective young father. "Who said I was going now? Going at night is a stupid move, you know?!"

"Eh? You're not trying to leave?"

"I'm just getting my preparations!"

"Oh?"

With that, Micah turned around and went to get his belongings. He left Doris standing there alone, looking foolish.

"It seems like we should get ready too!" (Rudi)

Rudi and Lidya walked toward the frozen Doris. They smiled towards the direction where Micah had gone.

"Once again, forgive Micah's behavior(nodding slightly)..." (Lidya)

The two of them went to follow Micah who was already in front.
