In a ruined village, several bandits were on guard, accompanied by torches that burned their sweat.
Some of them were guarding on the rooftop of the ruined houses with their bows and arrows. They could easily shoot anyone suspicious from the height. Unfortunately, due to the darkness of the night, their vision was limited.
In the middle of the village, there was a little commotion where the bandits seemed to be disputing something. Whatever it was, they were willing to kill their own comrades just to win their argument. Whatever they were debating right now must be something important.
Meanwhile, at outside the village, five people were lurking behind the bushes on top of the hill. Their view evaluating the village was clear due to their elevated position.
"We're here! To the place where it all started." (Micah)
"Seeing this place again makes me want to leave right away!" (Lidya)
"Didn't you say you wanted to help? Was that just a lie? Or are you just seeking my husband's attention? Or-"
"Husband?" Rudi stopped Sherry's long mouth from after hearing the word 'husband'.
"Huh? Of course! He's my husband, what else? My brother? He's not even looking like it. Or, are you trying to close to me to ask me going out? Sorry, but I'll reject you right away."
"Okay, okay, I understand!" (Rudi)
"Sherry, please stop for a moment." Doris sternly and calmly reprimanded his wife. "Let's focus on the plan, okay?"
"Do we already have one?" (Micah)
The three of them still couldn't catch up with Doris' quick thinking. They had just arrived, but the man had already come up with a good plan.
"There are four entrances to the village, the first one is in the northeast, Micah will distract them openly from there."
"Me?!"
The plan clearly did not make sense, especially for a normal person. Micah may be ruthless, but sending him directly to the enemy would make him look like a sacrifice.
"I know you'll probably refuse it! But with your ferocity, and the fact that you killed their leader. I am sure they will use you as a key to become the next leader."
It made sense, but it was still not enough. That's what Micah thought right now.
"There's something I want to ask... Am I going to go forward like a fool without a weapon?"
Advancing against someone with the intent to kill without a weapon is suicide, even a fool know it. Micah would continue to object to this plan until he at least got a weapon.
"Can't you just summon it yourself?"
"Summon?" Lidya tilted her head.
Once again, Doris said something that the three of them didn't understand. And as expected, they were all stunned by Doris's mention of magic.
"Don't you really know about this?!"
Doris became even more suspicious of their presence. First, Micah, who was unaffected by levels despite defeating the bandit leader. Second, they who didn't know about levels and status. And third, they didn't even know about magic.
His suspicious at last found a glimmer of light.
"Who you guys really are?" (Doris)
"I don't know, we could say we're not from here, or not even from this world." Lidya replied with a tone of disdain.
Although her outward appearance was like that, everyone there knew that Lidya was trembling with fear now.
"Are you lying? You're shaking too much..." (Doris)
Doris mistook Lidya's fear for something else. Lidya really wanted to say it calmly, but her body still couldn't calm down because of the shock.
"If we were from this world, then I wouldn't dare to kill those bandits." Once again, showing his hands that were now clean but still left blood stains on them, Micah spoke as if he was challenging that suspicious man.
"Okay, okay, I understand! Forget about that, focus your mind on the palm of your hand! Imagine a weapon that you want to hold and use." (Doris)
"If everything you say about not coming from this world is true, then your weapon data should still be empty, so you can choose your weapon as you like. The most important thing is 'focus'... Okay?" (Doris)
*Closing their eyes... The three of them focused on the palm of their right hand while imagining a weapon that would greatly help them in this world.
Think... Think... Think...
Poof!
They felt an object appear in their hands. As their eyes slowly opened, they saw that their weapons were already in their hands.
Rudi got a sharp sword with a single edge like the swords in Arabia. He thought of a weapon with an incredibly sharp blade according to history. The sword was a Damascus sword.
"On the other hand, Lidya got a long wooden staff like a witch's in fairy tales. At the top of the staff was a red pearl with an engraved head resembling Micah's, with its mouth wide open as if in pain.
Unlike the two of them, Micah got a weapon that had nothing to do with this world. A weapon that they never thought would appear. It was a Desert Eagle.
"Wow, American style, huh?" Micah exclaimed.
"By the way, Lidya (looking at Lidya's staff)... Why is my painful face carved on your staff? Do you hate me that much?"
"No, I never thought this would happen!"
"Enough, enough! Let's focus on the mission!" Rudi was a bit envious of them because out of all of them, he got the most look normal weapon without anything special than them.
"It seems like you all have gotten your weapons, so let's begin- what is that (pointing to Micah's weapon)?!"
Doris didn't know what kind of weapon Micah had, as it was impossible for such a weapon to exist in this fantasy world.
"Don't worry about it, let's start the mission, boss!" Micah said mockingly while give salute like a soldier.
"Alright, let's continue... You (pointing to Rudi)!"
Doris still didn't know Rudi's name because his name had never been mentioned before.
"My name is Rudi, by the way..."
"Oh, okay! Rudi, you're in the northwest of the village. When Micah distracts them, sneak up to the archers and kill them like a shadow."
"Okay!"
Rudi went to the location requested by Doris.
"Lidya, if I'm not mistaken your name."
"Yes."
"You go to the southwest, after the archers have been eliminated. I want you to attack them the bandit that coming after Micah from behind as soon as possible."
"Understood!"
Lidya went to the location requested by Doris.
"Wait, what about you?" All of his friends had already left, leaving Micah alone with that married couple.
"My wife and I will wait in the southeast to eliminate those who escape."
"So you're just waiting for us to fight them while your part is only to deal with the dying ones?! Your life is too easy?!"
Micah felt that Doris was being too bossy now. He didn't like that kind of behavior and began to get angry.
"Hey! I don't want anyone from them to survive!" Doris's eyes sparkled with anger. She seemed to curse the bandits.
Micah knew what Doris meant. He wanted revenge, that's all. And also, he realized that something like this couldn't be done by just two people.
"Micah, please! I'm begging you! This time! Follow Doris's orders!" Sherry clapped both of her hand to plead him. Tears in her eyes indicated how much this needed to happen.
"Sigh... Alright..." Micah had surrendered. "... This time I'll do what you want(pointing at Doris without any threatening intention)."
Micah ran to the location where he was requested.

The trio had left, leaving only the two of them on top of the hill. They gazed at the destroyed village with a mixture of anger and sadness. The village held many memories for both of them, and its destruction was sure to make anyone cry, especially knowing that friends or family might have been living there.
"We will avenge them, won't we?"
Doris looked at the destroyed village with tears streaming down his cheeks.
Sherry stood beside him, gently embracing him. She tried to be strong with the support of Doris by her side. She hadn't even thought about what would happen if Doris died. She hadn't let her mind go there yet. All she could think about now was moving forward and fighting.
"Dear, let's go... We have to move. That guy (Micah) clearly doesn't like waiting."
"Hmm," Doris nodded quietly.
With quiet determination, Sherry and Doris headed southeast to block the escape route.
Soon, everything would be avenged.
