Marianne frowned. She had done whatever she could to enchant King Dragon's attention.
He was still standing in that position. His eyes were gloomily staring at the garden from the window's glass. 'Where have you been running away girl?' he sighed when he found Marianne's arms entangling around his neck.
"I could make your day bright, my King," she whispered and caressed his cheek, strolling down to his neck. "I'll do anything you want me to do!" she licked gently King Dragon's neck and behind his right ear.
"No. Dismiss, please!" he turned his head around. His eyes were sternly staring at her, apparently asking her to leave him alone.
Marianne bit her lower lip anxiously. "Is it that stupid princess again?". She asked with an anxious expression. "Why couldn't you forget her and love me as I love you, my King?"
King Dragon still stared at her and said no words. The way his eyes were talking to her had made the woman turn around and dismiss from his sight without another complaint and sentence to speak.
His memories were running flashing back some years ago, at the time he found a piece of letter left on the desk of one of his students in the class. He knew that the desk was Tristan's desk. He unfolded the letter that was a letter with some beautiful handwriting and surprisingly romantic that it was a love poem. 'The owner of the beautiful handwriting wrote her name as Chandra, your lover from the Bhagavanta Kingdom.' King Dragon was amazed by the beautiful sentences that were written and structured into a poem.
He was sneaking when the two young people started to meet and date in some public parks inside the Emerald Drake. He got amazed by the innocent pair of the girl's eyes whenever she was staring at Tristan. She was a quite shy girl and a stubborn princess with some rebellious actions that King Dragon perpetually heard of. He ever saw her racing with her horse with Tristan and made her the winner in a forest near Tristan's chateau. 'She was as wild as a storm, as brave as a tiger but she was also as shy as a tiny rabbit who was ready to escape from any strangers' sights.' That was the impression that King Dragon collected from her as a whole young woman, a human, and also as a princess from a wealthy and potent kingdom, the Bhagavanta Kingdom.
"What is your business to make me obey you not to see Tristan?" Chandra was putting an anxious expression as King Dragon told her not to see Tristan.
King Dragon sighed, trying to stay calm as the girl who was standing in front of him triggered him with her disobedient attitude. "Please, watch your attitude!" He said in a soft tone. "I just want Tristan to be more concentrated on his music examination!"
Chandra sniffed harshly. She stared at him in a more intense sight. "He has the mouth to speak instead of yours. If you dare to use your sentimental judgment on him, you will watch me…." She hissed at him with an anxious pitch before lifting the lower part of her gown and walking away from his office with some wide footsteps of hers because of her anxiety. The way that the young lady walked seemed to be similar to the way of a warrior who was triggered in a battle.
King Dragon was standing in his place and staring at the young woman's back who just stirred up something inside his chest. He smiled and shook his head. "You make me want to know more!" he whispered.
During Tristan's treatment for his severe pneumonia, King Dragon often saw that rebellious young woman walking around as she didn't want to leave her lover alone during his illness period. From one of his whistleblowers, King Dragon found out that she was staying in a small cottage near Tristan's chateau. Every single day and evening, that young woman visited her lover in his chateau and treated him patiently. Her adoring sight every moment her eyes staring at Tristan, her lover, had made King Dragon start to become so jealous.
Tristan was an average young nobleman that was born into a noble family. His father was a son of a royal woman who married a successful merchant. Tristan's father got his nobility since he was adopted by his mother's second husband who came from a royal family. Tristan as a man, was quite a good-looking, stable, and grounded young man with quite brilliant musicianship running in his blood. He was one of King Dragon's favorite students in his music class.
King Dragon often tried to find a moment to get his luck in getting closer and spend more time with Chandra when her lover was under treatment. He was following her one afternoon after he saw her coming out from Tristan's chateau. "Princess Chandra, please wait!" he tried to catch up with the fast footsteps of that young woman.
Chandra turned around. She saw King Dragon approaching her and she bent her knees as a bowing gesture in front of that man, a gesture of politeness and respect.
"Glad that I finally can see you again!" King Dragon smiled at her.
Chandra wrinkled her forehead. She looked so alert and suspicious. She had asked her female attendant to return back to the cottage before her.
"Glad to see you too, Sir!" Chandra turned her eyes down.
King Dragon smiled and put the woman's hand with his gentle kiss.
"In this beautiful fortune, I have to welcome you, Princess Chandra, a young princess from a wealthy kingdom, the Bhagavanta Kingdom, in a courtly manner, I think. Well, your visit hasn't been formal yet since your visit has the purpose of seeing your lover, Tristan, who is under treatment because of his severe pneumonia. More prayer from me, I hope a good fate and fortune have blessed him!" King Dragon opened the conversation.
"Either do I, Sir!" Chandra whispered.
King Dragon inhaled deeply and stared at the young princess who was still turning down her sight. "Why do you turn down your eyes from mine?"
"Because I highly respect you, Sir!" Chandra answered in a soft tone. She seemed more polite than she did some weeks ago before finding out that how powerful was the Emerald Drake Kingdom and Tristan's illness. It wasn't their first time of meeting at least for King Dragon.
"You're a princess!" King Dragon sneered at her.
"I, Sir. Merely, I am coming here as a young woman instead of a princess!"
Consequently, there was silence trapping both of them.
King Dragon sighed. "Avoiding a half dishearten that probably mistakenly happen between two kingdoms, I would like to invite you, Princess Chandra, to have dinner with me in my palace!" He said calmly in a more emphasizing tone as he tidied something on his upper outfit.
Chandra levitated her head and stared at him.
"It's a formal invitation!" King Dragon smirked at her before leaving her.
'It means an order or command of a king that I should obey!' Chandra inhaled, turning her head around to see King Dragon's back as that man walked in more confident and arrogant steps. Her mind kept wondering and suspicious at the same time about the intention of that man.
"I don't have to obey you, King Dragon. I am a princess from a different kingdom, and I have a right to stay equally with you!" Chandra hissed emotionally. Her fingers were clenched tightly. She kept staring into King Dragon who was calmly sitting on his lounge with his crossed legs.
"I do understand about that! As long as you love Tristan," he paused and impulsively sneered when his lips mentioned that young man's name. "You must be wise! If you consider his condition to get access to the best treatment in this kingdom. Remember Princess Chandra that you are talking with the king of the Emerald Drake. Please, watch your attitude, my dear!"
Chandra sniffed harshly and threw her eyes to the floor.
"I only ask you to have some dates with me. To spend your beautiful moment with me!" King Dragon persuasively spoke as his smile was formed enigmatically.
"I do have a lover, Sir!" Chandra answered in a deep pitch.
"I know about that!" King Dragon smirked and leaned his upper body forward to Chandra. "I am not asking you to become a lover of mine. I only ask you for some dates with me. Then, I will pay it back as Tristan will get the best treatment in this kingdom. Let's play fair, my dear!"
Pushing into some strained situations, Chandra at the last minute of their heated argumentative moment of a dining time agreed with him. "Running in several conditions, Sir! Please, respect me as a princess!" she emphasized her tone before leaving King Dragon's palace that evening.
Chandra's traits of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and hard-to-get, and her refusal to be submissive in front of King Dragon's power had made that man crazily obsessive to conquer her. Nobody had known what the main goal of King Dragon was in his effort to defeat Princess Chandra both in godly and evil ways.
Some years after Tristan passed away, King Dragon successfully dated Princess Chandra many times. He had got access to close to her physically granting her rebellious actions that would emerge every time she was aware that she had been manipulated emotionally and physically by him.
"What is happening?" Victoria, another mistress of King Dragon approached Marianne who was stretching her legs on a long sofa. She let her thighs be unconcealed so that by the time King Dragon came out from the room, where he had been there for hours, he could be attracted to approach her.
Marianne sniffed and drank her half wine from the glass at once. "That stupid princess poisoned his mind again!"
Victoria took a seat in front of her. She was wearing a tight mini skirt and a tight upper outfit. "It seems that he really falls in love with that woman!"
"I won't let it happen, Victoria! I should be a queen of The Emerald Drake, not her!" Marianne rose.
"But she is a princess!" Victoria reminded her. Both of them were mistresses that King Dragon allowed to stay inside his palace. In that case, they could satisfy King Dragon sexually whenever he required.
"Who do you think I am, Victoria? I am a princess too. Well, my father's kingdom is not as big as hers but it's a part of alliances in the Triangulum Anatolia Empire!" Marianne sniffed and pour another glass of wine.
"I never understood why he is so obsessive with her although he knew that the stupid princess has surrendered her reign to her uncle and surrendered her nobility too as a princess!" Marianne paused, taking some sips of her wine.
