[ Hy guys, so in this chapter we would be clearing some misunderstandings you may have and would be unlocking a little mystery in this book please be patient with me (^^) ]
~~ ZAMIEL'S POV ~~
" Zamiel they almost ate me!" Carmela cried hugging me tight
" Who?" I asked patting her gentle on her back to calm her down
" Those huge rats they kept chasing me in the darkroom " she said taking deep breaths
" It's okay i am here now no one would eat you " I tried comforting her.
I took one more look at the symbol of divinity on the necklace I took from Carmela and took a look at the time.
It was just a few minutes passed midnight but how's this possible?
How can a tempter operate when they aren't present?
As I'm sure there's none around
~~NARRATOR'S POV~~
Things began getting complicated for Zamiel and he couldn't wrap his head around the whole situation.
Just like the angelic body have the first, second, and third hierarchy
Demons have six hierarchies which consist of;
The absolute, primal emanations, archdukes and dukes, Lord, minor lord, and Tempter's.
The absolute is the highest rank of demons.
They are kings of the demons they govern, and under them, they have the primal eminations, archdukes and dukes, lords, minors lords, and Tempters.
Unlike the primal eminations and archdukes and dukes who are known as the higher-ups ( principalities ),
The minor lords and Tempter are the lowest and weakest rank.
The minor lords are demons who are half human and demon.
Their realm operates low as their human body can't handle much force from the higher realm
While the tempters are just like humans but with a different pattern of living.
A normal thousand years old higher-up in his human form would be a man in his twenties
but a thousand years old tempter would be seen in his human form as a ten-year-old child which gives them more advantage when manipulating.
The only disadvantage they have is they can't operate without being close to their victims.
Zamiel sighed not knowing a way out of this situation, firstly he has to save his people, and secondly, he has to save his wife Carmela
After making sure that Carmela was already sound asleep he left for his room right opposite the one Carmela is in
His room is a restricted place for everyone and he's the only person who goes in and out of the room.
After agreeing to marry one of the Ken twins he arranged another room opposite his and decided to stay in the room with his so-called wife to avoid suspicion.
He sat in his huge dark room starring at the neck with the help of a candle which is the only source of light in the room
He has to unlock the mystery going on.. he thought
The devil's daughter not being found isn't a coincidence and Carmela being a part of Lucifer's game still isn't a coincidence
'There must be something's things I'm missing' he thought to him self placing the necklace aside
He heard a knock on the door jolting him from his thoughts and walked towards the door
when he got to the door he found Asher and Xavier standing at the door not looking so happy
" How did the both of you know ibam here ? " he came out of the room slamming the door behind him
" We aren't aliens we know where to find you whenever we feel you're lost in thought and don't forget we do share a connection," Xavier said with an unusual straight face
Zamiel almost forgot the connection they shared .
One would think that they have different personalities and don't care for one another but the truth is they understood each other more than anyone would.
" Ruach [1] any news on the task I assigned you, " Zamiel said with a straight face
" no leviathan [2] " He replied
They were all permitted to call each other their second name if there was no one present so Zamiel didn't think twice about it as he preferred their second names to the ones people knew them with.
An unusual silence suddenly fell between the three of them, both Asher and Xavier knew that this silence meant something was going wrong but if it was just any servants they would have peed on their bodies out of fear
" Theirs a tempter in this house" Zamiel informed and shock was visible in the face of the two people standing in the room
" Leviathan are you sure about what you're saying " Asher spoke up with an emotional face
" Yes, Leviathan are you sure about this? cause no demon would want to trouble the heartless serpent of the abyss " Xavier said knowing how cruel Zamiel was before he decided to crawl into his hole.
Zamiel threw the necklace he took from Carmela on the table
" This tempter is from the symbol of divinity " zamiel informed
" LUCIFER !!! " both Asher and Xavier's chorus
" Yes, but I still don't know why he is after Carmela "
" After sister-in-law?"
Realization sudden dawned on Zamiel that he never told Xavier about the deal he had with Lucifer and that must be the reason he always challenged him..
" Belial [3] would explain everything to you but as of now we need to know who the tempter is so we can keep Carmela safe " Zamiel stated the pressing need
Although he doesn't love her and doesn't want to be attached to her, he has no other choice but to save her and ensure her safety
" I'll take care of that, but it's gonna take a few days as tempters are hard to detect since they are like humans," Xavier said with a straight face
' I'm not going to let anything happen to you sister in law because you're the only one that can change this heartless
brother of mine ' he said to himself
" Until then I'll want you both to be on high alert while pretending you are clueless about the situation on the ground.
Asher as for finding the devil's daughter we would have to ally with the witches "
" The witches hell no " Xavier protested almost immediately, he wasn't going to join an alliance with the witches as they are like a double-edged sword
After realizing the stares he got from both Asher and Zamiel he suddenly began to deal with helpless
" okay we'll do as you say " He sighed
" As from my research there is a prophecy from many years ago, " Zamiel said opening a scroll
" It reads that
' A child from both beings with powerful parents would be born to bring an end to the ragging evil ' " Zamiel read out loud
" So that must mean that the child is from both the witch and demon being " Xavier concluded
" Also that must be the same child that brought an end to Lucas Lucifer's step brother paving way for Lucifer to become the king of hell…although I'm not sure he is totally dead but that's what they say "
" The both of you are right.. but for us to find this child we'll have to find the witch princess " Zamiel informed
" But I heard the witch princess died after saving her child from the curse the witch queen placed on her " Asher said arching his eyes brows and the mysteries were becoming even more complicated
" And that's what Lucifer wants everyone to think.. "
" What the fuck.. this mystery is becoming too complicated " Poor Xavier complained feeling his head spin
" The witches don't know this but we demons know that if a demon marks his mate he, therefore, sharing this lifespan with her and that only happens in the case where his mate is a non demon.. " Zamiel explains
" That means if Lucifer is still alive... "
" The witch princess must also be alive " Xavier completed Asher's statement
" That's correct, so if we're able to ally with some of the witches it would be easier to find the witch princess " Zamiel explains
" But we can't do this alone we would need the help of some of the primal emanations and archdukes and dukes " Asher informed frowning
This is another problem for the trio as this rank of demon are mixed breeds.
it's either they are a demon vampire, a demon werewolf, or a demon siren
" Asher would you be able to schedule a meeting with these three types of demons and me " z
Xamiel inquired
" I'll try my best " Asher assured
" Okay you both can go rest, our plan would be put into action by dawn "
Zamiel informed and exit the study room
Although he is powerful enough to go against Lucifer it wouldn't be easy as the soul of his people are in danger and without his people, the demon's under Asher and Xavier's rule would not be able to perform well, that is they need each other to coexist.
He just wished his plan goes as they've laid it out, as getting the support of the primal eminations and Arch dukes and dukes would be of great advantage to them all.
