A bright golden light engulfed the entire Hao Harem Sect, causing panic among the members.
However, after a few seconds, the light vanished, and nothing seemed to have happened. Some recently added third-step members of the sect began investigating the incident but found no traces of anything unusual.
In the room, Hao Gongming looked at the system interface.
Alarmed by the detected interference, The system attempted to eliminate the invading energy but failed in doing so.
Warning messages flashed on the screen, indicating that the system was damaged and unable to function properly.
Subsequently, the text on the screen became unreadable. Then The system's interface started to fade, and soon, disappeared completely.
"The system is gone!" Hao Gongming realized.
"Although I still possess reality points, using them without the guidance of the system is nearly impossible. Additionally, all my skills, including the portal skill, have vanished. This is a significant decline in my strength. Fortunately, I'm still quasi-7th step, so my safety isn't compromised."
Hao Gongming turned to Gao Feng and asked, "Now what?"
Gao Fang responded, "Now, your main body can no longer control you, and she can't personally attack you either. As long as you stay here, you are safe."
Hao Gongming smiled bitterly and began contemplating, "I really hope to learn how to use reality points without the system as soon as possible."
Without the system, she didn't dare to explore the body of the 8th step worm. Her only option now was to practice using reality points without the system.
…
Meanwhile, in the real world, Hao Gongming suddenly felt that something was amiss and retrieved a laptop-like object.
This device served as the control hub for all systems, allowing her to monitor her clones, check their consumption, and access various other data.
Most importantly, she held complete root access to the systems. With a few buttons, she could disable the systems of her clones, imprison them, and even cause their demise.
However, when she checked the list, she noticed that the system of one of her clones had been deactivated.
"Impossible! There's no way any of my clones could do this alone," she exclaimed.
In the past, there had been cases of her clones rebelling. After all, they were not exact copies and could differ in certain ways. Coupled with their environment, they sometimes rebelled against her.
But she had always been able to easily absorb them using the laptop. In fact, she enjoyed it when talented clones rebelled, as she liked absorbing their abilities.
But now, somehow, a system had been disabled. "It must be one of those rank 19 idiots interfering, perhaps that old dragon. I took numerous treasures from the simulations and didn't give any to her. She must be retaliating," she speculated.
"I should teach these idiots a lesson," she thought.
She was about to cast a spell to remove that clone using a special method and absorb her, but then her expression suddenly changed. "It's luck entanglement! That damn old dwarf! It's his doing," she realized.
Thankfully, she had detected it, or else she might have fallen into his trap.
Guide had entangled the luck of her clone, granting him control over her clone's luck. However, it had no effect on Hao Gongming herself, as her cloning technique was safeguarded against such methods.
Otherwise, she would never have dared to spread her clones like this. But if she had absorbed that clone, it would have become a part of her, and her luck would have become vulnerable to attacks from Guide.
"That idiotic alcoholic! Now I have no choice but to sever all connections to this clone. I will make you regret it later!" she vowed.
With another spell, she completely severed the connection with that clone, making it like a stranger with no ties.
"You want your protagonists? Not anymore! Your protagonists are now in my harem!" she declared, determined to get her revenge.
Up until now, she programmed her clones to unconsciously avoid individuals with high luck. Of course, accidents happened sometimes, but in general, the protagonists were reserved for the dwarf.
She looked at the laptop and initiated a new "system upgrade" for all her clones. This upgrade stated that they would receive a substantial amount of reality points as long as they found high luck individuals and put them in the harem.
"Now I want to see you regret it and kneel here to apologize!" Hao Gongming sneered.
...
Hao Gongming glanced at the three individuals standing in front of her. They were Gray, Original Sin, and Shang Lu.
With the disappearance of the system, the slavery marks on these people had also vanished. Luckily, she had already slain all the rank 7 beasts by this point.
With her quasi rank 7 cultivation, she could easily dispose of 6th step individuals with a snap of her fingers.
The three of them stared at her coldly, but didn't dare utter anything that could provoke her. She cleared her throat and said, "Let the past remain in the past. From now on, you are part of my harem. Any objections?"
Then she unleashed a terrifying aura of quasi 7th step power. None of them objected; they all nodded in agreement.
"Good. Now only my world exists in the soil, and I grant you a considerable amount of freedom to act. So, don't worry," she assured them.
Gray asked, "What about exploring the 8th step worm?"
Hao Gongming replied, "Not now. For the time being, go and rest. When I am prepared, I will notify you."
They all bowed and left.
Hao Gongming sighed and thought, "Controlling them might become more challenging after this, but they dare not do anything. I interrogated everyone before, and they don't possess any unexpected trump cards that could threaten me."
She felt an urgent need to learn how to use reality points on her own. She could sense the power, but it was like trying to control your heartbeat—possible, but very difficult to master.
"If I can't control it directly, then I should find a medium," she pondered deeply and began experimenting.
She felt that once she could master it, it would be far more powerful, as the system was probably stealing a lot of reality points before.
…
Hao Gongming, in the real world, delved deep into her thoughts.
"That stupid drunkard, I could easily seal him, but the other 12 will surely come to his aid. I cannot take direct action. For now, seizing his protagonists will suffice," she contemplated.
"But that clone will be a problem. I have lost all control over it, and now who knows how he will manipulate it? I have already severed all connections, but luck is a mysterious force, and it might still affect me. After all, in the realm of luck dao, he is the supreme grandmaster," Hao Gongming pondered.
In the realm of reality dao, Hao Gongming held the title of supreme grandmaster, but in luck dao, she was only a great grandmaster.
Beyond the 10th step, individuals had to choose a specific dao and specialize in it. Over time, their proficiency in that dao would improve.
First, there was the quasi master, capable of creating spells up to 12th step in their chosen dao. Being a quasi master was also a requirement for reaching the 12th step.
Following the quasi master, there were the ranks of master, quasi grandmaster, grandmaster, quasi great grandmaster, great grandmaster, quasi supreme grandmaster, and supreme grandmaster.
To reach the 14th step, at least one dao had to be quasi grandmaster, and to reach the 15th step, one had to be a grandmaster at the very least. This pattern continued until the 19th step, where one had to be at least a supreme grandmaster to reach 19th step.
Beyond the supreme grandmaster, there was the 20th step, but that rank was currently locked, and no one could surpass the level of supreme grandmaster until it opened.
Hao Gongming grew increasingly concerned as she thought about the luck entanglement. Until now, no one had dared to attack her, not even in the slightest manner. However, now that dwarf was directly targeting her.
"I must strike back in a way that makes it unthinkable for anyone to interfere with me again!" she determined.
With that in mind, she began designing a spell that incorporated three daos.
Hao Gongming had achieved the rank of supreme grandmaster in three daos: reality dao, human dao, and blood relations dao.
The latter was due to her clones, as virtually all members of the human race were descendants of her clones at some point.
After half an hour of calculations, she successfully crafted a spell.
It was a spell named "Race Transformation."
Essentially, it affected a large area in the real world, where every dwarf would be transformed into a human.
Hao Gongming couldn't help but laugh, "Because of you, I lost a lot of harem members who were coming from that simulation. Now, you have to give them back from your dwarves!"
Her spell included the distinctive pink mark of her harem. After each dwarf transformed, they would become part of her harem and be transferred to her location.
In truth, the Hao Harem Sect was not as extensive as it seemed. It represented less than 1 percent of the human population on the surface.
However, in reality, 100 percent of the human population belonged to her harem with the pink mark, although they were unaware of her true identity.
Hao Gongming had created numerous clones of both genders, and all high-ranking members of human sects were her clones. Additionally, all human kings and important figures were her clones. She was the true and only ruler of the human race, indirectly controlling the human race through her clones.
These clones were perfect copies of her without the possibility of betrayal.
The clones sent to simulations were intentionally flawed with the potential for betrayal, but the clones in the real world were flawless replicas, sharing her thoughts and knowledge.Essentially, they knew everything she knew and were unified with her, indistinguishable.
Once these dwarves arrived in her realm, they would be gradually integrated into human kingdoms.
Hao Gongming preferred not to directly gather everyone in her sect. It would make her an easy target and reveal her secrets.
Without hesitation, she targeted the dwarven area and unleashed her spell.
…
Meanwhile, Guide suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of black luck, a terrifying force that was directly aimed at him and his people. "It's that woman! She is attacking!"
Guide immediately contacted Dragonlord Fire and the Elf King, Lord of Green.
Also, he sent a distress signal to all the other 19th steps, but he didn't expect them to arrive in time as they were far away. The real world was vast, and even a rank 19 couldn't teleport from one end to the other.
He focused his efforts on mobilizing his luck and improving the luck of the entire dwarven race, attempting to cleanse the black luck. However, no matter how hard he tried, the black luck wouldn't dissipate.
In frustration, he took out a coin and tossed it into the air. "Heads!" he shouted.
As the coin landed on the ground, it showed heads.
A wide smile spread across his face as he witnessed this. The coin emitted a bright shine, transforming into a manifestation of good luck that purged the black luck from the dwarven people.
…
Meanwhile, Hao Gongming watched as her spell was about to land, but suddenly, a rift in the fabric of reality opened, and her spell disappeared into the crack.
"What? That's a void crack that only appears once every million years! How unfortunate can my luck be? Or rather, how extraordinary could his luck be?" she sighed. When it came to luck, she couldn't match her opponent.
"Then let's try ten more times and see how good your luck truly is!" Determined, she immediately utilized a significant number of reality points and cast ten more Race Transformation spells.
…
Guide's expression changed drastically.
Previously, his people's luck had been infected by black luck, but now it had turned completely dark, devoid of any bright luck.
It was almost certain that his people would face grave consequences or some tragedy that would be detrimental to the dwarven race.
However, at the last moment, a massive tree appeared in front of the dwarven land.
It was a spell cast by the Lord of Green.
Subsequently, a colossal firewall materialized and was launched in the direction of the human race, courtesy of Dragonlord Fire.
With this turn of events, a tremendous battle was about to commence, one that had the potential to claim countless lives.
