Valerie's POV
The next day came in a blink, I opened my eyes to the rays of the sun and the chipping of the birds. But then Christine wasn't in the bed with me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes slightly, then looked around the room, but he wasn't there.
Furthermore, I looked up on the wall where the clock is hung and noticed that it's only seven o'clock in the morning. Just when I was about to stand up from the bed, the door of the room opened and Christine walked in with a tray of food.
"Good morning, how was your night? I hope you slept well?" He inquired from me.
"Yes, I did." I replied with a smile.
"Go and brush your teeth, thereafter, we'll eat." He said, and I nodded and slowly stood up from the bed and made my way to the bathroom.
After which I came out and we had our breakfast together. "You know that we have to see the doctor today, right?" He asked, and I gazed at him for a while, then nodded my head.
