A species that resembled the alien Wally had seen before, but was much larger and had blue arcs of electricity wrapped around it, appeared before him.
"This is .... The Speed Force?!" Wally said in surprise, "You're also connected to the Speed Force?"
Yuri reminded him, "This is not the time to talk about that right now. Saving Midtown is important, I'll go first."
With a flash of blue lightning, Yuri's figure disappeared in an instant.
While running with the Speed Force, an unprecedented sensation filled Yuri's brain.
In Yuri's perspective, it was as if time had stopped at this moment, and everything was too slow for him.
"Hey, you're cheating!"
Wally called out from afar, and golden lightning instantly covered his entire body, instantly chasing after him.
But one more thing shocked him once again. During this chase, Wally suddenly realised that he couldn't keep up with Yuri's speed.
The distance between them was not far, only about ten metres.
But no matter how fast Wally accelerated, the distance between him and Yuri remained at ten metres.
This XLR8's godly speed came from Wally, so as fast as Wally could run, the alien could run as fast as he could.
In a millionth of a second, Yuri and Wally had scouted out the current state of Central City and Keystone.
In Keystone, the workers of the Kenyon union and the police of both cities were fighting the hordes of the Blacksmith's men.
Yuri interspersed between the battlefield, everyone's movements nearly frozen in time as a dense haze of bullets hovered in mid-air.
Wally siphoned the kinetic energy from all the bullets in the field, rendering them useless, while Yuri took the weapons of the robots one by one.
Although the world stood almost still in the eyes of the speedsters, time did not really pause.
In the sight of the workers and the police, only a yellow and a blue light suddenly burst into the site of the gunfight.
As soon as the yellow stream of light flashed by, a bullet inexplicably stopped advancing and fell out of the air onto the ground.
The blue light instantly swept through the enemy's position, and immediately afterwards all the weapons in the enemy's hands disappeared, and even their bullet-proof vests were stripped off.
Deprived of their fine equipment, these soldiers were no more than a bunch of ordinary bandits, and under the combined pressure of the Kenyon union and the police, they could only face their inevitable defeat.
Thousands of workers with spanners, chains and crowbars in their hands swarmed over the bandits, hammering their weapons onto their bodies.
After a severe beating, it was up to the police to handcuff the bandits.
Chyre, Morillo and Gold-face gathered together.
"Was that the Kid Flash just now?" Morillo asked.
Chyre nodded and said, "It was definitely him."
"Who's the blue one though? It doesn't look like the Flash." Gold-face suddenly added with a curious question.
"I don't know, but whoever he is, he's moving with the Flash kid, so he's on our side." Morillo said as he did.
"I can't believe the Blacksmith has secretly recruited so many people, and I don't know if the Bureau's prison will fit ...." Chyre looked around at the thousands of criminals shackled up, both ordinary and superhuman.
"We'll have to separate the common criminals from the metahuman criminals, can someone please inform the Iron Heights prison?"
At this point, the chaos within the city was considered to be over, and Morillo and the others began to discuss options for holding the criminals, as well as some issues with the subsequent prosecution of the blacksmith.
Gold-face was the blacksmith's ex-husband and knew many of the network's secrets and was the decisive witness.
On the other side, on the Van Buren Bridge.
*Boom! Boom! Boom!*
The blacksmith scurries frantically away, with Captain Cold and the weather wizard in hot pursuit behind him.
A bolt of lightning struck the bridge in a desperate attempt to blow up the cars parked on the bridge.
At the same time, a wave of cold air followed the blacksmith at breakneck speed, freezing everything in its path with a layer of ice.
The entire Van Buren Bridge, almost a third of it, turned to ice.
The bridge deck was covered in ice, while above it lightning and storms raged.
The whole Van Buren Bridge shook and seemed ready to break.
'Fuck! Which step has gone wrong?'
The blacksmith couldn't figure out why things had turned out the way they had.
All the fighters under her command had been arrested, the entire New Rogues gang had been wiped out, the weather wizards had rebelled, and she herself had fled in disarray.
Even her greatest trump card, twenty battle robots, had been decimated and defeated.
The Blacksmith has played all her cards, plotted and schemed, schemed and schemed, clearly one step away from victory, only to suddenly lose it all in the end.
Yuri's appearance, Plunder's death, Captain Cold's entry into the game, and Morillo's regenerative powers were all outside of the Blacksmith's plan.
Without Yuri, Plunder would not have died, Kid Flash would not have received the cure, and the New Rogues would have been able to take out Kid Flash with ease.
Without Captain Cold, the Weather Wizard would not have rebelled at the last minute.
If Morillo hadn't had the ability to regenerate, then he would have been taken out by the Plunder, Chyre would have been buried alive by the Plunder, and everyone locked up in the Mirror World would have stayed locked up.
Unfortunately reality has no ifs and all these unexpected events happened, dealing the blacksmith the most fatal blow.
Suddenly, the blacksmith's fleeing steps stopped.
Two more men appeared in front of her.
It was Wally and Yuri.
At this moment, the blacksmith was in a desperate situation with an enemy in front of her and another enemy behind her.
"Blacksmith, give up your resistance, all your plans have failed, you can still suffer less if you cooperatively turn yourself in to jail now."
Wally gazed at the blacksmith and said coldly, "You will spend the rest of your life in Iron Heights"
"Impossible! This is not how it's supposed to be! This city belongs to me, it's mine!"
The proud blacksmith could not accept the fact that she was at the end of her rope and hissed hysterically to the sky.
"My plan should have been flawless ... my plan should have been flawless ..."
After hissing, she started mumbling like a madman.
"Blacksmith, do you know what you're losing at?"
At this point, Yuri suddenly stepped forward and asked in a seemingly careless manner.
The blacksmith glared at him angrily, glaring at him with a look as if he wanted to eat Yuri up.
"You thought you had everyone in your pocket with your machinations, the old Flash, Jesse Quick, Pied Piper.... one by one the superheroes of Midtown were all held in check by your layout, some in jail, some in the hospital, so you thought you had it in the bag."
Yuri laughed disdainfully, "Yet what you don't know is that the more one plays with intrigue in things like people, the more likely they are to fail due to unexpected circumstances, thus leading to the loss of their previous success.
"Your failure is because you trusted your plan too much, while not being strong enough to ensure its implementation!"
