"So do you get it? Your biggest failure is not in the so-called plan, but simply because you are - too weak!"
Yuri smiled faintly and uttered the final summation.
"I advise you to save your breath, which one of us can you beat with your strength alone? Kid Flash? Me? Or Captain Cold or the Weather Wizard? Wake up to reality, Blacksmith."
The blacksmith didn't say a word, just stared at Yuri with a deadly glare, eyes wide and fists clenched.
Yuri's expression became slightly more serious in the face of the blacksmith's desperate look.
At that moment, a sudden change occurred.
*Click! Click! Click!*
Without warning, the blacksmith's feet suddenly froze, and a layer of ice rose from the soles of her feet, rising at a speed visible to the naked eye.
In the blink of an eye, the blacksmith's legs were completely frozen.
In another blink of an eye, her entire body was encased inside a huge block of ice, leaving only her head still on the outside.
"It's cold ... so ... cold!"
Inside the ice, a terrifyingly low temperature comparable to absolute zero swept through, and the interaction between the metal molecules in the blacksmith's body nearly disappeared.
The blacksmith could clearly feel that every molecule in her body was "dying".
Under this terrifying cold, the blacksmith's consciousness dissipated rapidly and soon her pupils turned white and then sheost consciousness.
*Tap, tap, tap! Tap, tap, tap!*
Two footsteps came from far behind the blacksmith. Captain Cold and the Weather Wizard walked side by side, appearing within the sight of Yuri and Wally.
"Stop it! Cold, you'll kill her!"
Wally shouted at Captain Cold with an angry look.
Yuri moved two steps to the side, putting some distance between him and Wally.
"You're right, Kid Flash, I'm just going to kill this bitch that almost got my sister killed!" Captain Cold pulled his hood off, revealing his shaggy white hair.
"Killed your sister? The Golden Glider?"
Wally was stunned as he then asked in wonder.
Captain Cold grunted, with no intention of making any explanation to Wally.
So the weather wizard stepped forward and explained Lisa's situation in Captain Cold's stead.
After hearing this, Wally's expression eased considerably.
"Cold, I can understand how you feel, whether you believe it or not, I really do."
At those words, Captain Cold raised an eyebrow and peered at Wally with squinted eyes.
With that Wally turned the tables and said, "But that doesn't mean I'm going to approve of your actions; Lisa isn't the only one suffering from the blacksmith cutting off the city's power supply, all the seriously ill could be under threat of death."
"You want me to give up the idea of killing this bitch?" Captain Cold's face went cold.
"Exactly." Wally didn't budge and went toe-to-toe with Captain Cold.
His eyes blazed as he looked Captain Cold straight in the eye.
In a trance, Captain Cold seemed to see a certain red figure in Wally.
Captain Cold looked away, his gaze turned away and said, "It's true that Lisa is only one of countless victims, but doesn't that mean this bitch deserves to die more?"
"Then it shouldn't be you who does it."
Wally stared at Captain Cold with a solemn look on his face and said, "I don't know why the Flash respects your Rogue Gallery like that, but I must say I don't like you at all, Cold."
"Pfft!" The weather wizard next to him suddenly stifled a laugh, reverting to his expressionless face after an annoyed look from Captain Cold.
"As much as I don't like you, you've already washed your hands, I won't see you as a criminal anymore, and if you leave now, then any damage to public property you caused while fighting the weather wizard can be ignored."
Wally continued, "Cold, the Flash would not want to see you kill the Blacksmith and go down that dark path again."
Only Wally held out his finger towards the Blacksmith while his eyes were firmly fixed on Captain Cold, saying, "I can promise you that I will do my best to have the Blacksmith sentenced to death, she is not Murmur and is not immune to toxins."
Blacksmith's ability was not really metallic in the sense that she did not possess superpowers per se, her ability was a modified superpower potion from the Goldface, which when injected could fuse flesh and metal together.
Blacksmith can neither absorb nor assimilate metal, and her metalised body is actually a fusion of flesh and blood and metal, not just metal.
In other words, even if the Blacksmith could remain metalized forever, the deadly toxins that worked on others would still work on her.
Yuri glanced at Wally in surprise, he hadn't expected Wally to say something like that, he had expected Wally to fight Captain Cold to save the blacksmith's life.
This was a bit of a reversal of Yuri's perception of the "superhero" profession. Not only Yuri, but also Captain Cold and the Weather Wizard were stunned.
"Good job kid, I always thought you were just a kid, but I must admit now, you're no worse than the Flash, Kid Flash ..."
The Weather Wizard tsked, pausing at the end of his sentence before his expression turned serious, "No, you're already a Flash."
"Heh!" Captain Cold's mouth curled as he looked back at Wally and said, "I'll wait for the blacksmith's public trial, if she's not sentenced to death then I'll kill her in court."
With that, Captain Cold prepared to turn and leave, and as he did so, the temperature of the ice that had frozen the blacksmith began to rise, mentioning from comparable to absolute zero to tens of degrees below zero.
The blacksmith was still imprisoned in the ice, but would not be frozen to death anymore.
"Wait a minute."
It was at this point that a voice suddenly called out to him.
The voice was not Kid Flash's.
Captain Cold turned his head to see that the voice was coming from the strange creature standing on the same side as Wally.
"You said that your sister has a brain tumour and has been searching for a cure from all the famous doctors and will have to continue her life like a vegetable, right?" Yuri asked.
Captain Cold was silent for a moment, then nodded.
"Maybe I can cure her."
Yuri offered while putting his hands on his waist in a confident manner.
"Oh? You think I'd trust an alien or mutant who looks like an alien to cure a terminal illness that even Star Labs can't do anything about?" Captain Cold clearly didn't trust Yuri.
"This is a good idea, Cold."
Wally backed up Yuri, "He was the one who configured the antibody serum for the previous outbreak of the mad virus at Iron Heights Prison, and although the brain tumour and the virus are not the same disease, he does possess medical technology beyond Earth's reach."
"Maybe he can really cure your sister."
With Kid Flash's guarantee, Captain Cold's attitude eased up quite a bit.
He asked Yuri, "What do you want?"
Yuri smiled mysteriously and said calmly, "What I want is not important, what matters is, do you want to save your sister or not?"
