Chapter 106 - CHAPTER 106

*Roar!*

They heard the skeleton monster emit a piercing, eerie roar.

Without waiting for Yuri to continue the attack, its colossal form began to crumble on its own.

The entire body of the skeleton monster shook uncontrollably, teetering on the brink of collapse, and countless bone fragments fell from its form.

Even the remaining one-third of its skull quickly shattered into over ten pieces.

"Oh, my God! It's collapsing!"

Beast Boy exclaimed in alarm. "Everyone, retreat!"

He immediately transformed into a seagull and took to the sky.

"Yuri, Raven! Get away from there!"

Starfire called to Yuri and Raven while also taking to the skies.

The Four-Arms couldn't fly, but Yuri could switch to either Heatblast or some other alien of his that can fly, or simply jump to a distant location to avoid the collapse.

However, in reality, he didn't need to consider this issue.

This was because Raven instantly appeared next to Yuri and used a portal to teleport them both to a safe spot on top of Titan Tower.

Boom!

In just a few seconds, the creature's body suddenly shattered, turning into countless fragments that rained down on Titan Island.

When the sea breeze blew, whether they were small fragments or the massive skeleton, all of it visibly turned into ashes, floating in the air.

"Not good!"

Suddenly, Yuri noticed that these floating ashes were gathering together following some pattern.

Beast Boy and the others soon noticed this too.

In everyone's sight, countless ashes gradually formed a line of text: "Raven belongs to Blood Brothers."

The text remained for about ten seconds before disappearing with the wind, and all the ashes were completely gone.

"Quick, look at the sea!"

At this moment, Starfire in the sky suddenly pointed at the ocean and shouted.

Yuri turned his gaze in that direction, and his pupils immediately contracted.

The blood-red sea that had formed around Titan Island due to the skeleton monster's arrival was now eerily flowing.

The blood-red seawater was merging from around the island, creating a large blood-red area on the ocean's surface.

This blood-red area was about twenty meters wide and nearly a hundred meters long, with one end near the island being relatively smooth, while the other end pointing into the distance formed an arrow shape.

It was as if it was blatantly telling Yuri and the others to come closer.

Unlike the previous text, this blood sea showed no signs of dispersing and remained on the surface.

Moreover, the arrow was slowly expanding, seemingly gradually assimilating the surrounding seawater.

Raven looked at this scene with a hint of fear in her eyes.

"Uh, guys, does anyone know if we should follow that arrow?" Beast Boy landed on the top of Titan Tower, returning to his human form.

"This must be the work of the Church of Blood. They're trying to lure us over, and there's definitely a big trap on the arrow's end. We shouldn't fall into the enemy's scheme," Starfire replied as she flew over.

"I think before deciding whether to follow the arrow, we should inform the Titans or the Justice League about this," Yuri reminded the group.

Just as he finished speaking, a serious voice echoed from the sky.

"No need!"

Yuri raised his head to see Superboy, Robin, and Wonder Girl hovering in the air, with Robin being held by Superboy's hand.

When they reached the top of Titan Tower, Superboy let go of Robin's hand, and Robin landed gracefully. It was Robin who had spoken earlier.

"Wait a minute, isn't today only Wednesday? It's not your usual time to visit Titan Tower," Beast Boy scratched his head when he saw the Titans arriving.

"At noon today, Colonel Trevor mysteriously disappeared. Someone left a note in his office, and no one knows what was written on it. The Justice League immediately dropped everything to investigate Colonel Trevor's whereabouts," Robin explained with a serious expression. "Once the Justice League began their investigation, they suddenly lost contact. I tried to contact Batman several times, but it all failed."

"I can't reach Superman either," Superboy added with a similar expression.

As soon as they finished speaking, a white streak of lightning suddenly shot over and stopped in front of the group.

"And Wally, he missed his dinner with Linda today. Something big must have happened," Bart stated.

Saying these words, Bart had an incredulous look on his face.

"I haven't been able to contact Wonder Woman, but my mom tried calling her, and no one answered," Wonder Girl added.

"Considering that the Justice League and Colonel Trevor's Oracle had designated the Church of Blood as their top priority, I believe this is related to the Church of Blood. Superboy and his team made the same discovery, so we decided to come over together. Skipping a few days of school won't hurt my grades," Robin summarized.

"This is seriously not good. Without the leader of the Oracle, it's like they're a bunch of scattered sand, and the Justice League has lost all contact. Titan Tower has also been attacked. All of this happened on the same day, and the more I think about it, the more I suspect there's a major conspiracy at play," Yuri couldn't help but comment.

"Titan Tower was attacked?" Bart exclaimed.

"Otherwise, how do you think that blood-red arrow on the sea came to be?" Yuri pointed to the sea.

Beast Boy vividly described the recent battle to Superboy and the others. They had arrived a bit late and missed the encounter with the skeleton monster.

"So, what should we do next?" Superboy shifted his gaze to Robin.

"Yuri, do you have any ideas?" Robin thought for a moment, then focused his attention on Yuri.

"Hmm..." Yuri pondered for a moment. Given the current situation, the Church of Blood had made it clear they wouldn't give up on capturing Raven. They were determined, and if the Church succeeded, it would bring Trigon to Earth, which would be catastrophic.

Therefore, protecting Raven was an absolute priority. Taking the initiative to walk into the enemy's trap was obviously unwise.

However, considering the rapid spread of the blood-red arrow, it wouldn't be long before it contaminated the entire bay of San Francisco. Raven had tried to use her magic to dispel the blood sea, but it had failed.

Moreover, unless the Church of Blood was dealt with sooner rather than later, there was no telling how many more attacks like today's would happen. Simply waiting at Titan Tower for the enemy to strike wasn't a viable solution.

The troubles with the Justice League and the Oracle also seemed far from being resolved. Yuri never liked putting his hopes in others and despised being passive.

Yuri fell into deep thought. Was there a way to both avoid jumping into the enemy's trap and take the initiative?
