Kofi woke up early on the day of his first training session at the guild. He was excited and nervous at the same time. He got ready quickly and left his room to meet Kwame, his journey companion, who was already waiting for him outside. They exchanged greetings and made their way to the guild.
As they entered the guild, Kofi looked around in awe. The guild was bustling with activity as students and masters moved around, training and practicing their magic. Kofi's master, a tall and imposing figure with a stern expression, greeted them and introduced them to the other students. Kofi felt a little overwhelmed by the number of students, but he was determined to do his best.
The master then explained the basics of the training to Kofi and the other new students. They were told that the training would be rigorous and challenging, but if they worked hard and showed determination, they would eventually become powerful mages.
Kwame nudged Kofi and whispered, "Don't worry, we'll ace this training together." Kofi nodded and felt a little reassured.
The master then led the group to the training area. Kofi looked around and saw that it was a large open space with different sections marked for different types of training. There were targets for practicing spells, dummies for physical combat, and obstacles for agility training.
The master explained that the first few days of training would involve learning the basics of spellcasting. He handed each student a wand and instructed them to focus on channeling their magic through it. Kofi found it difficult at first, but with practice, he gradually began to feel the magic flowing through him.
After several hours of training, the master called for a break. Kofi and Kwame sat down together and talked about their progress. They both agreed that it was challenging, but they were determined to keep going.
As they were talking, Kofi noticed a group of students practicing a spell that he had never seen before. He was curious and walked over to them to ask about it. They explained that it was an advanced spell that required years of training to master. Kofi felt a little intimidated but also excited at the prospect of learning something new.
As the day went on, Kofi became more comfortable with the wand and casting spells. He even managed to hit a target with a spell, which earned him a nod of approval from the master.
By the end of the day, Kofi was exhausted but also proud of himself for making progress. He and Kwame said goodbye to the other students and made their way back to their room.
As they walked, Kofi turned to Kwame and said, "This is going to be tough, but I think we can do it."
Kwame smiled and replied, "Of course we can. We're in this together."
