As the group training session begins, Kofi notices that some of the other students are already working well together, while others seem to be struggling. They start with some warm-up exercises, and Kofi notices that Nia is particularly enthusiastic and motivated.
Their master then assigns them a task that requires them to work together to accomplish a goal. They have to move a heavy object from one end of the training ground to the other, using only their bodies and the equipment available to them.
Kofi finds himself paired up with Akira, his senior student mentor, who is a skilled martial artist but has a serious and stoic personality. At first, Kofi struggles to communicate with Akira and work effectively with him, but eventually, they find a rhythm and begin to make progress.
However, some of the other students are not getting along well. Two of them, a hot-headed boy named Jiro and a shy girl named Mei, have different ideas about how to move the object and keep arguing. Meanwhile, another boy named Hiro is not pulling his weight and seems distracted.
Nia notices the tension and steps in to help mediate. She listens to both Jiro and Mei's ideas and suggests a compromise that allows them to work together more efficiently. She also encourages Hiro, who is dealing with some personal issues, to focus and contribute to the task.
With Nia's leadership, the group is able to complete the task successfully. Their master praises them for their teamwork and progress, and Kofi feels proud of what they have accomplished together.
They end the session with some cool-down exercises and stretching, and Kofi feels grateful to have such supportive and skilled classmates. He realizes that martial arts is not just about individual skill, but also about working together as a team.
