"But why are we obeying them?" The Crown Prince asked confused.

The Crystal empire gave us rein of the empire and made us imperials as they promised, with their power we were able to expand our territory as vast as it is now.
After that, our family's fate became bound to them and through out the years they've protected us, In return we do their bidding" The emperor explained.
The Crown Prince was too stunned to speak, his view about everything begun to fall apart, whether it was the history of the empire or their family.
From what he had learned here, they were just lackys of the Crystal empire, "But father if the ruling dynasty of the Crystal empire are the Archman's, why are we attacking Archman Group" The Crown Prince asked.
"You can save that question for when we meet The Arkons, we only follow orders and don't ask questions" The emperor simply answered.
"The Arkons" The Crown Prince muttered.
"Now tell me how you found out that the Archman's were the ruling dynasty of the Crystal empire.
The Crown Prince explained everything that he learnt from professor Johnson to the emperor.
"So there's another family that knows about the existence of the Crystal empire, tell your men to hunt them down and eliminate every single one of them within that family at all cost" The emperor ordered.
"Don't worry father, my men are already on it!' The prince replied.
The emperor couldn't help but nood in satisfaction, this son of his was truly competent unlike his siblings.
"Well then, it's about time we meet the Arkons!" The emperor said as he pulled as he pressed a hidden button on the founding emperor statue.
The founding emperor statue split open into two revealing a large space enough to fit two people in.
"Follow me!" The emperor commanded.
After the two entered the space within the statue, the emperor took a small dagger from his belt and slightly cut his finger allowing the blood to drop on the ground.
The moment the blood touch the floor, the head of the founding emperor begun to move facing downward.
The eyes of the statue suddenly started glowing blue, it was almost like the statue had come to life.
The blue lights beams from the statue eyes begun to evolup them and in a blink of a second, the two disappeared.
The founding emperor statue begun to return to it's original position and within a few seconds it was back to normal.

On the other side, the Crown Prince had merely blinked and he had already found himself on an unfamiliar environment.
They were now currently standing on a crystal bridge which had been suspended in the air, but the surprising thing was that it was not being supported by anything.
Infront of him, he saw four gigantic statues all made of crystal two on each side of the crystal bridge.
No matter how far he looked towards the sky, he couldn't see where the crystal statue heads were, they were too far into the sky
The emperor had already begun walking ahead so he followed.
Looking around, apart from the Crystal bridge they were walking on there was nothing in the surrounding, only an empty void.
The prince begun to admire the four crystal statues around him, there were three men and one woman.
When they passed the first statue, the Crown Prince body suddenly begun to feel murder intent penetrate his entire body.
Every step he took, the heavier the murder intent, he felt like he had to kill someone right now to satisfy the desire for murder burning within him but before it could overtake him the intent suddenly stopped.
It felt like everything that happened a second ago was nothing but mere imagination.
He quickly snapped out of it and walked to catch up with the emperor but the moment he entered the range of the second crystal statue, his mind was overtaken by the desire for power.
Understanding what the situation was, the prince immediately gritted his teeth and walked as fast as he could to get away from the range of the crystal statue.
The prince gritted his teeth and walked past it with heavy steps.
After passing through the range everything returned to normal once again.
At this moment, he could roughly guess what this statues where, they were a test for every emperor to pass through to gain the acknowledgement of the Crystal empire... Probably.
Knowing this, he now wondered if the remaining two would be more difficult than the last or not.
He had already endured and controlled his desire for murder and power, what will his next test be?
The Crown Prince took in a mouthful of breath before proceeding, but within the range of the third crystal statue all he felt was the desire to acquire and absorb all knowledge in the world.
This wasn't that bad at all but he still had to endure the pain in his head and after a few steps he successfully passed.
For the last crystal statue he felt nothing at all.
After he crossed all the crystal statues he let out a sigh of relief, on his body there was no sign of exhaustion or weakness infact, he's health had slightly improved.
After passing all the four statues, the father and son duo finally came to the edge of the crystal bridge.
A large tall platform was raised towards the sky, at that very edge was what looked to be three people seated on a floating chair.
Though the prince couldn't see them clearly, he felt he was in the presence of a higher existence, his body couldn't help but tense up.
The emperor had already went of his knees and greeted, "Greetings to the supreme beings!"
The Crown Prince seeing his father kneel also followed suit.
"What brings you here?" An ancient voice asked.
"My lords, I've brought the Crown Prince here because he has an earnest request from you!" The emperor replied.
Though the Crown Prince could not see the faces of the three men, he could still feel their gazes suddenly turning on him.
The pressure on him increased Ten fold.
"Young one what is your request?" The ancient voice asked.
Surprisingly to the Prince, the voice wasn't harsh but one could in a way say gentle. It was slightly gentle.
"Speak of the request you asked of me" the emperor gently reminded him in a silent tone.
The Crown Prince was dealing with another increase of pressure on his body after the emperor suggested he speaks of his request, he found it difficult to even utter a word.
At this moment he couldn't help but admire his father who was able to speak so fluently despite the pressure.
The Crown Prince took in a deep breath and stabilized himself before slightly raised his head towards the floating figures of the three leaders.
"Who and what are you people, and why must we fight your war?"
