Chapter 78 - Origin Of The Archman Civilization(Arkons and Axioms)

The Crown Prince question was met with silence by the Arkons.

The emperor on the other hand waited patiently to hear the reply the Arkons would give his son.

Over the past few generations, this question has been lingering in the minds of past emperors but none dared to ask because they all feared the consequences of asking.

The current emperor had avoided telling his son anything about the Arkons because he wanted to see this situation occure.

His son was the type that would boldly ask anything when needed, he didn't fear speaking his mind even to the emperor and so over the last few years, he's been encouraging that behavior of the Crown Prince.

Another reason why he's been doing all this was also because he felt like the Arkons saw a slight bit of potential in his son, what that potential was? He didn't dare to ask.

But what his noticed was that they were very lenient with the Crown Prince.

After what seemed to be forever, a raspy voice from above finally answered.

''Very well! We'll tell you who we are and where we came from so listen closely human, you've got a bit of potential and would eventually join us so I see no problem in telling you our origin'' The raspy voice said.

"This universe was created by an entity known as the creator, no one knows when or how he created the universe but everything within the universe was created by that entity.

After creation a promise was left by the Creator, this promise is engraved in the DNA of every sentient being.

It didn't matter how new or remote a sentient being was in the universe was, but they all knew of the promise.

After creation, the creator promised to grant immortality and the power of creation to any specie that could grasp one of the essence of creation itself.

And as a result of that promise, civilizations were founded across the entire universe, every civilization goal was to grasp an essence of creation.

In time the essence of creation were discovered, civilizations who begun mastering the essence firstly suddenly gained advantage over the rest.

Those who begun to grasp the power of creation begun using the knowledge to craft ships that could soar through the stars and constellations in mere instant's, while others built weapons that could destroy countless galaxies with a single ray.

With the knowledge gained, civilizations begun to explore different methods of extending life, some civilization could extend a sentient life for millions of years, some higher level civilizations could extend it to a billion.

Through the knowledge of creation, civilization could store and absorb essence of creation within their body giving them infinite strength and power.

The shell of a sentient being was no longer a limitation to them, they could just cast it away for a new one whenever it became useless.

But as various civilizations begun to advance with their individual knowledges of the essence they've grasped, a war broke out among the civilizations.

The Legacy Wars was what we called it!

The Legacy wars lasted for twenty million years, and only stopped when one civilization triumphed over all the others.

The advancement of that civilization opened the path for the rest to follow.

Through their advancement, the universe figured out that there was nine levels of enlightenment with the ninth being the final.

How did we know?

That Civilization called themselves the Primordials.

Among all the essence of creation they chose the hardest to grasp and seek advancement from.

They chose the essence of time!

Their mastery of time made them invincible in the universe, all trembled before their might.

In the Legacy Wars, they were the only civilization to fight through the entire war for twenty million years without losing a single battleship in battle. They had a hundred percent victory record in all the battles they fought.

Coming against them would mean the end for many civilizations.

When they advanced to level nine, they singlehandedly stopped the entire legacy war.

It was believed that after attaining level nine the creator granted them immortality along with the power of creation. They became gods in the eyes of the entire universe because they were the only one's who knew the creator and had seen the entity.

The Archman civilization came into existence shortly after the Legacy War had ended, just like any other civilization we begun our journey of enlightenment pursuing the promise of the creator.

Our civilization specialized in grasping the essence of the void, all our technological advancement focused on how to weponize the void to our advantage.

After 40 millions years, our civilization finally evolved to the fourth level of enlightenment, we were thriving but then a second faction rose within our ranks.

A group of four siblings proposed an idea which shocked the entire civilization to the very foundation of it existence.

The end of the legacy war didn't mark the end of all wars in the universe.

The legacy wars only ended the war that could destroy the entire universe, apart from that, lower level civilization could fight against each other for resources.

The Primordials would only interfere in a war among lesser life forms if it was threatening enough to destroy a constellation, If not they couldn't care less.

In the wider universe there was no such thing as rules.

The only thing that mattered was strength, it was conquer or be conquered. And just like all other civilizations, the moment we discovered how to move faster than light our conquest begun.

A new faction in our civilization rose up and objected our path of enlightenment, they suggested an alternative that could only be described as insanity.

They suggested that instead of focusing our resources on conquering other constellations, we should rather focus all the resources into understanding all the essence of creation.

This suggestion was nothing short of audacious, it was an unspoken rule in the universe that every civilization could only choose one path of enlightenment.

This meant that all civilizations were permitted to only choose one of the essence of creation, but those crazy pair of siblings wanted the entire essence of creation which in itself was an impossible feat to attain.

The Arkon council of Archman civilization had initially thought of them as a joke, but as centuries went by, their ideology begun to spread through the public.

They even begun experiments to find a way to grasp how to grasp more than one essence of creation,

That ideology was too dangerous that if a higher civilization should hear of it, they'll surely eliminate our entire civilization.

No one would care whether it was plausible to even study two or more essence of creation or not, just even thinking of that path was a direct challenge to the creator and deserved annihilation.

The ideology of the Axiom's was too dangerous to let them run free, so the Arkon council banished them and all their followers to a rocky planet far away from our constellation.

Thinking about it now, we should have killed them and erased their consciousness and grinded their shells to dust" The raspy voice said in regret.

"At that time non of us undersood how grave of a mistake we made letting them go with those ideologies.

We had expected another civilization to invade, slaughter and enslave them.

We knew they wouldn't last long without our protection, but how wrong we were!

After 10 million years, the Axiom's returned to our constellation but this time they returned with a fleet powerful enough to destroy us an infinite amount of times over.

Not only that, but they had surpassed us and where now a Level 8 enlightened civilization.

Just like they said, they had found a way to grasp the essence of creation itself and not a single element, they had managed to grasp more than two essences.

Their rise overturned the entire universe throwing it into chaos.

We had expected them to come seeking revenge on us but instead they absorbed our faction into theirs and even forgave us.

They gave us minority power within the Axiom supreme council.

The Axiom supreme council didn't see us as a threat they needed to worry about now or in the future, we were too weak to be a threat to them at any point in time.

For two million years we lived in the shadows of the Axiom's, but our time finally came.

Our civilization was at the peak of level eight enlightenment, we were left with a single step before we became the equal of the Primordials.

But before we could take it, the Primordials who had been quiet since the emergence of the Axiom's finally made a move.

It was a devastating loss, our forces couldn't even block the fleet of the Primordials, in a last attempt to preserve our civilization the Axiom's stored away as many people as they could in their fastest space craft and sent us to a location they claimed would never be found by even the Primordials.

The location they sent us to, was EARTH!!
