Chapter 19 - Team bonding

Since the day that the whole world was surprised with the unset of supernaturals, a lot of things naturally changed.

Some nations were wiped out of existence while some others that were close to a breakdown consisted mostly of rampant villains.

The few nations who could hold out the much damage taken decided to form an alliance. Out of the over two hundred countries only fifty could be considered a villain controlled area while the other few were almost void of any hero presence.

The government of these countries knew about what would happen if the war between heroes and villains went on further and decided to form a truce between themselves that none of them would ever appear to the open world again and deal with business in secret.

These truce wasn't accepted naturally and went down for a few years before the head of the villain association came in terms with the agreement

Things had changed afterwards and the information about villains or supernaturals became super limited so the whole world came to a conclusion that they all vanished.

Of course, people would hear about various myths of supernaturals once in a while but the whole noise died down few years after the truce was formed.

Coming down to supernaturals, most of them are born with their innate traits or abilities while some other few get their abilities much later in life and they are called "LATE BLOOMERS"

They are the ones who get their abilities at a later age in life.

This was an issue that had to be taken care of by the government because someone could just wake up one day and become a supernatural, making the truce useless.

They knew about this so they used a technology that could wipe out all possibilities of becoming a supernatural from people genes the moment they are born or under eighteen years of age.

Some of them who are lucky to be able to resist the technology have the opportunity to use their ability for a while before suddenly vanishing from the public. Some thought it was a curse but it was the government secretly moving them to hero city or maybe villains also.

Those forcefully brought to hero city have the choice to enroll into hero academy and become a cadet or live in hero city as a civilian.

Oh and if you become too full of yourself as a hero and begin to get corrupt, it shall eat you up untill you can proudly call yourself a villain and if you don't get an emotion suppressor patch, you either become a beast or you die.

And the world is absolutely full of those beasts.

Ten years after the incidence of the massacre that went on in peaceland, the world has changed alot and heroes or villains is hardly brought up in conversations anymore.

Heroes against villains and villains against heroes. Choose your side.

Back to hero academy,

The rowdiness of the hall slowly began to reduce, with some of the students already in a complete team while the remaining few were either confused with the colors or they couldn't see their fellow pings.

John and Eleen stood still looking at the various pings hovering above them in the air.

"couldn't they have used the system to match us or something?" John stared at the pings, lamenting over the stress.

"I can see a blue ping over their" Eleen said, disregarding John's previous statement.

The owners of the blue ping was in front of them, some familiar faces

Soo ah and Lucas.

"I guess were some lucky group of friends and who is that pretty lady over their?" Soo ah smiled.

John rolled his eyes at Soo ah, "This is Eleen. She was one of my college mates before coming here"

Soo ah immediately brought his hand for a shake,

"My name is Soo ah, nice to meet you" he said blushing nervously.

Eleen ignored his greeting and rather turned to John.

"How come John is so good at the ladies. He's not as handsome as me" Soo ah thought.

"Eleen this is Lucas" John introduced him to Eleen.

Eleen didn't reply, she glared at Lucas coldly.

"Now where is that last ping" Soo ah said cheerfully, searching for it among the pings.

A cold subtle hand rested it's palm on his soldier,

"I am here" The voice was subtle, gentle and innocent but Soo ah was shocked to his bone marrow.

"Oh don't be shocked honey. It's just how my ability works" Said Angel, with joyous look on her face.

Now that we're complete i guess we should be waiting for the principal's instruction.

"Shouldn't we be exchanging names or something?" Angel asked. The atmosphere was quiet and none of them uttered a word.

"Nope we already did" John replied.

"Well we better get ourselves ready cause we'll be in serious sh*t together."
