She clutched her gown so tight as she remained in his embrace. Olivia didn't know why his signature cologne registered itself into her nose.
At the same time, she swallowed the urge to shed some tears as she never returned the hug. Reginald broke the hug after some seconds of trying to console her.
"We should get going." His deep voice broke her out of her reverie, and she stared at him cluelessly.
Reginald secretly liked the look on her face, and how adorable she looked when giving off a surprised look. He wanted to enjoy the moment when she didn't have to look at him with accusations in her eyes.
It only meant he was starting to succeed in melting her heart. Not like he was aiming for it, he wanted Olivia realizing that her accusations were not true. Besides, he could not imagine himself in a relationship with Madeline.
