In the calm lighting and blessed silence of the study room, he sat there, flipping through the pages of the book on the table. Without shifting his eyes away from the page, his dull and uninterested tone rang in the room, "Step out."
A dark figure stepped out of the shadows, allowing the lamps in the room to cast their light on the man's face. He invited himself to take a seat, making himself at home.
Kione eyes shifted briefly to the open windows of his study room. "You finally decided to come out of your solitude." He said. "Why are you here, Azrael?" He finally looked up to see the man. His red eyes met the man's black ones.
His red hair was swept back neatly. He could have been mistaken for a gentleman, considering his appearance now.
"I came to see how you have been faring." The man smiled so widely that it reached his eyes, forming a wrinkle at the corner of his eyes. "Mason has finally gotten a lead, and it was nearby, so I came to check."
