"What…Have you been doing extensive research?" Azrael managed a laugh. His eyes lingered longer on a drawing in one of the books that lay on the library desk before shifting his attention to the vampire.
Kione stood with a glass of blood wine in one hand as he stared outside his window. He did not turn immediately, only listening to the clicking sound of Azrael's shoes on the floor as he approached.
"So have you decided on it?" Azrael paused and watched Kione glance over his shoulder with a displeased look.
Ignoring his question, Kione said flatly, "You have been watching your dead girl while forgetting an important task. You must be really adamant on dying." And returned his gaze outside the window.
Azrael sluggishly rested his back against the wall. "Well, that's how much I want to fix this mess." Pain stung to the edge of his voice.
