Growling resounded around the clearing as dark shaggy wolves marched forward. Adorning one was a nasty healing wound that had been the result of a det stick in the teeth. While those grudges would be settled one day, two things had shifted since they last tussled. One, yeti of the north had decided to move, two Ivy's use of arctic mana put the group of outsiders firmly into the insider group.
What was a shadow blade set to reduce a person to ribbons, was instead used to bisect an encroaching warg. Not to be out done, the entire pack moved forward. Shadows returned as the flare continued to rise further in the sky.
Wolves danced with the shadow walker. Unlike the masterdom this was smaller cleaver pray, darting through their shadows, severing tendons and striking vitals. Ivy took advantage to wrap her childhood friends' wounds, and retreat as a small group. Tiffaney stayed witless, limply hanging.
