SHERIFF MICHEAL'S POV
Having my phone ringing out just when I was supposed to be thinking of a proper breakfast with the family was not how I planned my day. I turned on the bed as I took the phone call. It was an emergency and it had to do with murder. That was rather strange as for the past few years than I could remember, there has not been any murder distress calls on our end. We werewolves made certain to slot up ourselves in the areas where we could monitor stuff and observe the city and it did not sound right.
Perhaps, this might have been one of the numerous human crimes of passion like the other times. I slid off the bed as I went to grab my towel when my mate turned on the bed.
"Where are you off to so early?" She asked me.
"Honey, it isn't that early. Look, there's light in the sky already." I said as I pushed open the window blinds as I let the beautiful light from the day come on.
