JARED'S POV
A few years ago, I recalled calling on my daughter to join me and the rest of the family on a trip to south Asia as I needed to start getting her integrated with the family life but Jane would hear nothing of it. She was as lightheaded as a feather and would rather do as she desired than listen to me. I tried to make her succumb but then she dropped the family name and returned to her grandma who apparently was my mother. My mother had never been in support of the lifestyle her late husband passed onto us which best explains our tough relationship with each other. She was really something when it comes to her stubbornness and I knew well enough that I would not be able to mold her into the person I desired. I left her and Jane had run to her, throwing caution into the air.
