JESSICA'S POV
He sure as hell had the nerve to get on my bad side. I could not believe that Lambert had actually cast me aside over the little wimp of a girl and stayed back there. At a point when the driver had pulled out into the road, I gave up yelling at Lambert to let me back as I glared at the driver.
"Why didn't you alert me of his coming?" I demanded angrily.
"I swear my lady, I was about to. The Alpha showed up from nowhere and I had to tremble. I panicked but was about to call you when he smashed my phone. You can see it in the cabinet area." He said to me,
I did not care about seeing the phone as I already knew that was definitely something Lambert could do. But then, I was beginning to feel like there was something he was not telling me about this Miranda of a girl. I needed to think carefully. Although he had not shown any signs mentioned to me, I had my suspicions against something.
