The following morning I got up a little late,but the game wasn't to start til 9am.checking the clock,I still had an hour.i texted Debby and told her to come get me,I went to have a shower and got dressed.thanks to him wiping my face with a wet cloth last night,my eyes were perfectly normal in the morning.so then I went downstairs.
Uncle Roy,Austin and Jackson were seated together discussing something in the living room.they all turned to look at me as I approached.as I laid with him last night,I found myself even more in thoughts,and I couldn't help thinking what Jackson said.what if he did realize,my family hunted werewolves? Would he be so warm and gentle as he was then? Or would we have the same fate as my parents? Waking up I knew exactly what I had to do,and which side I was on.
"What's the plan?" I asked coldly
"Good morning,Aliyah" Uncle Roy said ironically
"You've made a choice!" Jackson asked
"Morning uncle."I replied and turned to face Jackson "Yes!" I replied exhaling deeply "I will avenge our parents" I said
"That's the right decision" Uncle Roy said
"I'm very proud of you,sis"Jackson said and Austin smiled
"You've made a good choice"he too added
"What's the plan?!" I repeated
"Well,under no circumstances is he to find out that you know of his real identity! So that's the number one priority. You should carry on with the relationship as if nothing as changed" he said
"You must make sure by the time you graduate,he is completely and utterly in love with you.Only then will he trust you enough to reveal the information we need" Jackson added
"Graduation! That's not so long from now, I don't know if he likes me that much" I said
"I'm pretty sure he does!" Austin pitched in "He's even going against his sister! whatever he feels for you,it's strong"
"Then all you have to do is make it stronger,because after graduation is when the plan will commence. So we must know of his whereabouts and the size of the pack" Jackson said
"Can you do that,Aliyah?" Uncle Roy asked and I nodded
"The alpha wolf,has healing powers,greater strength,impeccable hearing and sight,and a larger body size when transformed.making him more intimidating and almost impossible to kill" Uncle Roy said "it is the same one that killed your parents and Austin's"
"This is why you are really important for this plan to work out" Jackson said
"I get it! I know what I have to do" I said
"You have to calm your mood Aliyah,if you go to the game like this,he'll realize almost instantly" Austin said and I was quiet
"Excuse me ma'am?" An officer came in by the door.
"A package came for you ma'am.i was told to hand it to you directly"he whispered as I received the wrapped box
"Don't worry Paul,they already know" I said with a smile and he nodded and left nervously
I took the box and opened as the rest of them stared curiously.this must be what he said would be delivered to me.i opened and found a blue and white striped jersey with the number 27 and his name on its back.it was clean,large and covered in his scent.
"You still not sure of his feelings" Austin teased
"So you guys just knew what was going on this whole time?!" I asked
"From the very start! There are cameras outside the gate" Uncle Roy said
"School!" Austin said
"I overheard you and Debby,that night" Jackson confessed
"Course you did" I said sarcastically "you better take care of her!" I warned
"I'm not heartless sis" he teased
"I can take you to the game" Austin offered
"No,thank you.I'm not going with Kaiden,if I show up with you he'll be curious. I'll go with Debby" I said and he nodded
Taking the box,I went up stairs having to get changed again.after what happened the past 24hrs,I wasn't in any mood for having fun.But being I had a mission now,I had no choice.I will kill these feelings I have for you Kaiden Scott,just as you killed my parents.I will make sure to get back at you,for every last tear that I shed.And worst of all,you won't even see it coming.
I decided to wear a white short with my blue and white trainers.i wore the t shirt he got me,and tucked one side to the short.I let lose my raven black hair and clipped some of it to the side.i applied some red lipstick and blue eyeshadow. Taking a blue marker I drew the number 27 on my cheek along with some hearts.i wore the bracelet he got me,gave a final look and went downstairs as I could already hear Debby's voice.
"Jackson! Stop!" Debby said playfully with a giggle as I found them embraced by the couch in the living room.and I couldn't help myself as I felt a pang of jealousy in my heart.
"Oh.My.God!!" Debby exclaimed detaching herself from him as she saw me approach them
"Aliyah!! You look-Wow!" Was all she could say as I forced a smile
"Thank you" I replied "you also look great" I complimented her wearing a blue and white crop top,a blue mini skirt and white snickers.
"We better go,the match starts in 20 min" Debby pointed out and I nodded and headed for the door.
"Take care of her" Jackson said
"Count on it" Debby replied and they kissed
"Debby!!" I purposely called from outside
"Coming!!" She replied laughing and he smiled and walked her out.
She came out and drove her car to school as fast as she could.when we got there a lot of people had already arrived and everyone was making there way to the field.she parked the car and we too made our way.
The moment we stepped foot in school,everybody's eyes were on me as I felt the stares with every step I made.People began mummering as usual,as they read the back of my shirt.
"I can't believe he gave you his jersey! So cute!" Debby said and I smiled
"Did he come by last night?" She teased with a smile
"Yes Debby! Thanks a lot" I said sarcastically and she chuckled
"You're welcome" she replied ignoring me and I shook my head with a smile
"Come on! I wanna see there little faces when they see where the captain's girl will be seating!!" She said yanking me excitedly
"Loyd is also captain" I pointed out
"Yeah! Just because Kaiden isn't talkative.but in the coach's eyes, Scott is captain.you should see the way he treasures him,he's the best player of the team!" Debby said
"Okay okay,you don't need anymore trouble with the guy,what if he hears us?!" I teased referring to Loyd
"I have Jackson now" she said proudly and I rolled my eyes "besides I still I have you" she teased with a smile
"Come on!" I said dragging her along with a chuckle
We made our way to the fields and the seats were all full with students from the two schools,the benches were still empty so we made our way there to wait as the cheerleaders were finishing there routine.as everyone cheered the players came out of there locker rooms,with there captains last.they made there way to there respective benches for a final rally before the whistle blowed.
"Whoa whoa whoa! What are you two doing here?!" Loyd said coming towards us with his hands wrapt around Laura who sneered
"You can't be here girls"the coach said
"Oh come on coach let them stay" one of the player teased winking at me
"I asked them here coach,is there a problem?" Kaiden intervened as he finished gearing up
"Scott-" he began
"Oh come on coach!" He whined coming towards me "I need her,she's my-our lucky charm!" He said placing his hand around my shoulders and kissed my cheek,as I turned red in embarrassment
"Fine! She can stay!" The coach said and Laura sneered even more "but you better score!" He added
"Don't worry coach! Every goal will be for her! I mean-the team" he teased and the team laughed as he took me aside.
"Hey beautiful! You look amazing" he whispered to my ear
"Thank you,good luck out there!" I said playfully
"Who needs luck when I have you" he doted and I blushed
"Scott! Don't make me regret this!" The coach yelled
"Kaiden!" I ordered with a giggle and he sighed
"I love my name on you" he said and I chuckled.he grinned and went for the final pep talk,and my smiled immediately vanished.
The whistle was blown and the two teams made there way to the field,they shook hands and took there positions as the game began.
I was still watching him as I stood,and Debby stood beside me.luckily Laura hadn't said anything and no one bothered the other.as I watched the match, i realized Debby wasn't exaggerating, Kaiden was amazing,as quarterback he scored almost all the team's goals leaving the other team 8 points behind.but the thing that they all couldn't notice was his powers helped him achieve that,he's speed,strength,agility,and keen eye sight.they had no chance even if he had played blindfolded.by halftime we were leading and the school was going crazy. They returned to the benches to rest, and I had already taken two bottles of water and a towel for him.
With a smile,he took one bottle and poured the water over his head and chest,then removed the football gear and remained in his blue jersey and dried himself with the towel standing beside me.
"Thank you!" He said and I smiled "you'll have to come to all my games,if this is how you are" he teased
"Trying to be the supportive girlfriend"
"I love it!" He exclaimed
"Young ms-" The coach began
"Aliyah" I stated
"We need you here in every game!" He teased and the team agreed with a laugh but Loyd.
"Yeah Scott! She really is 'our' lucky charm" another joked
"That's enough!" He said with grin
"Just one invite and they all love you" he whispered sarcastically
"Need I remind you,that you brought me here Scott" I said
"And now I regret it" he teased and kissed me as the team teased us playfully
"Kaiden!" I chuckled and he dragged me to a more open area and kissed me again
And immediately I heard a large gasp and some screams as the crowd went crazy with what they saw,despite knowing we were together,they hadn't once witnessed our intimacy.once again he was telling Westview,I am his.
"Are you crazy?!" I demanded in a low voice and buried myself in his chest blushing,and he instead just wrapt his hands around me and we appeared to be hugging.
"Yeah,for you" he replied as I released myself
"You're So cheesy!" I teased and he wrapped his hand across my shoulders again.
"Heads up!"Loyd called
All of a sudden out of nowhere,a ball came flying over and hit Kaiden on the chest so hard that an intense thud was heard and he crouched to his knees in pain.
"Kaiden?!" I called out scared and everyone else in the crowd was shocked to their feet
"Yo bro! Are you okay?"Loyd asked coming to check on him.hiding his grin
"Scott are you injured?!" The coach asked in a panic "call the paramedics!" He then ordered
"It was an accident! I was practicing my throws and it hit him" Loyd explained acting worried
"An accident?! That throw was intense!" I inquired as I felt Kaiden cling onto my hand as he got up
"He should really be looked at" Debby added
"No need.I'm fine"Kaiden said standing up unfazed
"No way! Scott you go see the paramedics! Loyd my office,now!" Coach ordered
"Like I said coach,I'm fine" he insisted and removed his shirt to reveal his perfectly unharmed abs,making the crowd go crazy as girls screamed with excitement "no harm done" he said and gave me an affirming smile
And yet another one of his powers were revealed,with that hit from the ball he was sure to have injured a rib or at the least got swollen,he wasn't even wearing any gear and yet nothing! He wasn't even red! Receiving his smile,I forced a smile back.
"Okay,you have to take the bench then.Reed take his place" the coach said to Kaiden then Austin
"We're cousins!" I replied his questioning gaze and he chuckled
"Come with me" he whispered and dragged me off
"Scott?!-"the coach called
"Going to get changed coach!" He replied
"And the lady?!"One of the players asked teasing and the others laughed
"I need help" he said holding on to his abdomen teasing back and they laughed even more
We went back to the locker rooms and he asked for me to wait for him as he went to have a shower. I tried looking within his bag,but there was nothing out the ordinary.the shower stopped and I had him return,and I returned everything back to its place holding a clean jersey.
He came back wiping his wet hair and torso,from the dripping water on his body.he smiled seeing the clean cloth I was holding,he took his bag and went to get dressed and returned wearing his black trousers and shoes,while roughly keeping his hair in place.shirtless,I hand him his jersey.
"My chest still hurts,I can't put it on by myself" he whined with a pout and sat down helplessly
I stared at him seeing what he was doing and sighed,I took the shirt and went over to help him and he immediately pulled me on top of him and I was seated on laps
"Don't act smart with me Scott" I teased as his hands were already behind me.he sat up,leaving only centimeters apart now,and my heart raced with excitement.
"I love it when you call my name" he teased with a low husky voice sending me shivers
"Lift your hands!" I demanded avoiding his teasing and he grinned doing as I said.
He raised up his hands as he glared at me intensely,ignoring him I took the shirt and was about to keep it on him,when he slid in and wrapt me,trapping me inside his jersey with him.I was now laying on his heated chest with our faces so close,we practically breathing the same air.
"I missed you" he whispered and I just stared him speechless.the beating of my heart could be heard to my ears.
"Can you do that,Aliyah?" Uncle Roy's voice played in my head,as I stared at this beautiful man infront of me.
"Can-I do this?"I questioned myself
Reaching out my hands from his bare chest,I cupped his face in my arms and he looked at me in delight,his beautiful blue eyes that felt like they could see right through me and without thinking any further,I kissed him passionately.
Reciprocating he kissed me back and I felt his warm touch tracing my bare back,as his hands slid underneath my jersey,and my stomach churned with thrill,my body reacted to him effortlessly.
"What are you doing to me,Aliyah? I've never wanted something or someone,so deeply as I want you.just one touch from you,and I am helpless. you're becoming my weakness and I don't know if that's a good thing or I should be scared.Am i falling in love with you?" Kaiden thought to himself
