"He kissed you?!!" She screamed over the phone
"Debby!!! Keep it down" I ordered, decreasing the volume on my phone
"Sorry sorry,oh my God! How was it?"
"Well it was a kiss Debby,what more is there to say!" I said chuckling
"It was a kiss from Kaiden Scott,Aliyah! You guys are totally dating now"
"Ahhh no! I don't think that's how it works."
"It is too! You'll see,I'm giving you guys a week!" she said and I smiled at the thought of that
"See you tomorrow debby,goodnight!" I said and hung up
After having dinner that was brought up,I finished my homeworks and caught up with notes I was due.after everything was done,I went to bed.
The following day,I went to school.on time.and we were starting with Geography,this time Laura decided to wait til I took a seat,so she could seat beside me just so as to separate me from Kaiden. I looked at her and scoffed.
Kaiden came in soon after and sat at his usual space now beside Laura,much to her amusement.
When classes started,I realized what he was teaching,was exactly what Kaiden taught me on our first session,I was stunned.i looked at him,but he didn't make any eye contact.regardless I still took notes and Aced his last minute test.
"I see improvements Ms Reed,good job" he said returning my paper looking at Kaiden who was expressionless.After geography,he made his way out first and left.
The rest of the school day was normal,nothing happened and no one tried anything.After classes,Kaiden was no where to be seen,I looked around and found him with Kira and there other friends.i walked over swallowing my nerves
"Scott?" I calmly called out and he turned to look at me
"See you guys later.Kira please.."
"I got it!" She replied firmly giving me a sharp eye
"Let's go" he casually said and walked to my car as I followed.
I handed him the keys and he drove off,to yet another unfamiliar place.Like the first day,he explained to me a lot.not leaving even a few minutes to wait or joke around.i composed myself as the hour wound up.
"Kaiden,how did you guess what he was going to teach today?"
"I didn't,I'm just trying to keep you ahead."he replied coldly
"You're supposed to be catching me up though?" I said
"You already do that on your own and it's working out fine I see,if you're also ahead,you easily master the subject"
He said once again not facing me
Just as I was about to ask about yesterday,he pulled out his phone and dialed a number
"Yo! am done come pick me up" he ordered and began to walk off.
Mad,I got into the car and drove off.
"Idiot!" I cursed as I was arriving home.
"Aliyah!? Everything good?" Jackson asked as I was rushing upstairs
"Anhaa! just a lot of homework" I replied and locked my door.
The entire week passed by as so,I was already caught up with all my classes.and even made some few friends.I decided to sign up for dance classes since I had that back in Arizona.things were looking up except for Kaiden,ever since that kiss,everything became awkward between us.he barely said anything to me anymore,we'd just study together then he'd be off and I was honestly sick of it at this point.
"Trouble in paradise?" Laura mocked us laughing as she passed by me and Debby on her way out .
"No kidding Aliyah,what's wrong with you guys?" Debby asked
"There is no 'us'!" I emphasized "but I'm also looking forward to the answer" I said then went to him
"Call me!" She reminded as I turned to give her a smile
"Scott?" I called out firmly
"I'm coming" he replied without even turning to look at me
"Haven't you caught up yet?" Kira asked
"Don't worry,this will our last session" I replied firmly and preceded to his bike
He shortly followed behind
"My bike?" He asked and I remained silent looking at him
He got on and so did I and we rode off,this time he rode to the pond from last time.And my mind started racing with thoughts,I needed to maintain my cool if we were to have this conversation.if he had plans of doing what we did last time,I will fail to focus.
Just as he was about to start explaining,as we walked up to the pond,I cut him short.
"This is an artificial pond,as it is clear from its defined banks and the even sandless depression,lack of vegetation and clear waters. No need to dwell on that,it's not why am here" I said he looked at me,stunned.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"What are you talking about?"
"Us!? What happened?"
"What do you mean 'us'?!"
"Cut the bullshit Scott! And tell me what's up!"
"It was just a kiss,what about it?"
"So that's the issue,the kiss"
"Can we go now?"
"No! That kiss..it meant something,right?"
"Aliyah,it was just a stupid kiss! It was an accident!"
"You're lying!"
"You're in denial!"
"I'm in denial?! You are the one in denial! It meant something to you,but you're not man enough to admit it!" I yelled
"Aliyah"
"Don't tell me you felt nothing from that kiss!"
"Aliyah"
"What are you so afraid of?!"
"Aliyah!"
"I'm so stupid!! How could I have let you-"
I was cut shot with a strong and passionate kiss,shutting me up completely.
"Yes Aliyah! I'm scared of admitting what I've realized,And it wasn't just a kiss,it was my first kiss.and it meant a lot to me,and I'm glad that it was you Aliyah because-"
"Because..?"I asked impatiently
"Because I like you,Aliyah.a lot "he confessed as a smile came across my face "I really do,and I didn't know what to do so I thought that by keeping my distance and staying professional I'd suppress my feelings.but when you said this was our last session I-"
He was saying as I couldn't help but kiss him and he didn't think for a second to kiss me back.and the next thing I knew I was pinned to a tree,our lips still not parting.
"I like you too stupid" I replied looking at him and he grinned and planted yet another kiss on me
"Will you be my-?"
"Yes!"
"What?"
"What?"I said and we both laughed
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Right! That's what I thought" I said awkwardly and he chuckled "Yes!" I replied and he kissed me again
"And Kira?" I asked
"She's my little sister,not my mom" he said "let me drop you home"
We got onto the bike and he drove me home,this time not going in the gate
"What is it?" I asked getting down
He also got off and kissed me once more
"Kaiden!" I said giggling
"I couldn't do this inside" he explained
"You said you've never kissed before but look at you" I teased
"I wasn't raised in a church princess" he said and kissed me goodbye
Got on his bike and drove off,I went in smiling to myself.just then Debby texted
"Well? Tell me everything!" She demanded over the phone
"I can't! Come over!" I texted excitedly
"Done!"She replied
I got in and was going upstairs when I ran into uncle Roy by the stairs
"Good evening uncle" i said
"You seem to be in a good mood" he said
"Oh well,you can't be grumpy everyday" I teased and went on upstairs "oh and a friend of mine is coming over,Hope it's okay!" I yelled before closing the door
Just as I got out of the shower,I heard someone knocking by the door
"Debby?!" I asked drying my hair
"Open up!" She said excitedly and I did
She sat down and I explained to her every last bit
"Oh.my.God! You guys are finally dating!" She squealed
"Shh-sshhh Debby! Jackson is his room!" I said
"Oh your hunky brother,I passed by him heading downstairs!" She said "I can't believe you guys kissed that much!!"
"Not enough"I blurted reminiscing
"There is no 'us' huh?!" She moaked
"Shut up!" I said hitting her with a pillow
"Dating?!" Jackson repeated to himself after eves dropping on them and went downstairs
"Uncle Roy,we got a problem!" Jackson said
"Yeah,I know"he replied handing a tablet to Jackson with surveillance of outside the gate playing from a while back
"Nooo noo,they cant be together!!"
"All the more reasons to tell her the truth"
"We still don't know of his whereabouts,and pack size.besides we need a full proof plan,before we tell her the truth about his little boyfriend"
"That's it then!"
"What?!"
"Aliyah! If he gets close enough to him we can know all we need to know!"

"Jackson! this could be our only chance.besides it's just teenage romance,it's not like they're in love"
