Tiffany had lost what faith she did have in the police but that did not mean that all of it was gone.
If she had learned anything from watching many people then it was that everyone was different from each other.
One person's actions or decisions did not mean that everyone else in the same position would do the same.
If that was the case then the actions of one person could easily ruin how people viewed a specific group of people.
If one hero turned out to do something unheroic then every single hero would be judged the same way.
Although it did happen at times that a large group would be judged in various ways due to the actions of the few among them, it did not mean all of them were deserving of such treatment.
Tiffany tried to hold onto what little faith she had in some others within the police and the heroes so that she would not be too swayed by one incident.
The location she was in was already lacking when it came to a hero and police presence.
Gangs and crime were mostly in control so it would be expected for some in such places to bend to those who had the most power in the area.
It was either that or they would risk putting themselves in danger.
If they did not wish for either then they would have to move to a much safer place with a better living environment and smaller crime rate.
It was something that she should have expected to encounter but she was still a little too young and inexperienced.
It was difficult for her to know such things if she had never encountered them before.
Her experience did help her in a way since it had let her see another side to others.
It let her experience something that let her know about other hidden things that others did not want to be seen.
If she truly wanted to understand others more deeply then she needed to be able to see much more about them in greater detail.
She needed to see all there was to understand about them if she was to be able to judge each situation properly.
She would know in the future that it was better to be careful of trusting anyone who was within a certain profession or group while knowing to look into them more deeply before getting involved with them or trusting in them further.
Tiffany was going through many thoughts as she was coming to an understanding of some things and how they would possibly be helpful toward her in the future.
Time was passing by as she waited in the room while occasionally jumping from her body to another location.
Nothing of use had been found from additional visits to some random locations where her toys were spread out so she soon returned to the room again.
There was a ringing noise that was going off within the room that startled her.
Her green eyes snapped open as she was alarmed by it then her body followed as she jumped up from her seat.
She was up on her feet very quickly and moved toward the door where a speaker box was there.
After pressing the button, the ringing came to a halt and a voice came through. "Tiffany, you can come out now."
It was the voice of Butch who had returned but he seemed to sound a little impatient.
The gap between her returning had been around five minutes or so which meant that he could have arrived anytime between then.
That meant that she had likely kept him waiting and the ringing had been going on for quite some time already.
She hurriedly pressed a button at the side of the bolted door causing it to suddenly move.
It unlocked with a couple of clanking noises before the door opened revealing Butch who was on the other side. "What were you doing? I have been here for a while now... I was worried."
Tiffany was feeling a little awkward and apologized right away. "Sorry about that. I was not paying much attention to what happening here."
Butch let out a sigh. "So long as you are okay... just answer sooner next time."
Tiffany nodded in response. "I will try!"
Butch studied her for a moment before snorting. "I will believe you for now. Follow me, we have much to go over."
Tiffany let out a sigh in response while adding. "Yeah... I have a couple of things to report to you too."
Puck was not too far away from them since she had been outside the whole time.
The moment that Tiffany came out, Puck showed a smile toward Butch. "See? She is fine. You were worried for nothing. I guarded this place all this time and nobody came close enough to be able to get inside or do something to her."
Butch let out a groan as if he had just taken a blow then showed a slight look of embarrassment. "Alright... I was wrong. I trust you... I trust in our defences... but anything could have happened."
He was still worried about Tiffany despite everything.
She was so fragile as a child and everyone had to be careful around her a lot of the time.
The most recent event related to her almost dying was a big scare for him so he was still quite worried about her.
It was to the point where he was not completely rational at times when it came to her well-being.
Tiffany was considered his closest sister even though they were not blood-related.
He wanted the best for her and wanted to ensure that she lived a long and happy life.
Even he was uncertain if the current environment was right for her since it had many potential dangers lurking around.
