All gazes shifted to Aegri for a moment, each through lenses of a different tint.
Baloo's big body shuffled along the glass wall. He cozied up beside her and lowered his head to share her enthusiasm.
"RIGHT! Who knew people could make a forest? Or a desert? On a ship!? This is crazy amazing!" Tinking sounds reverberated off the ground from Baloo's tapping clawed toes.
Aegri's glance caught Baloo's giddy grin. Seeing his fang-filled maw curled into the biggest smile she'd ever seen… sharing in the same sight as her… made her heart feel a bit lighter. The invisible weight on her shoulders lessened for that moment alone.
"... It really is crazy. I knew this was here. It was on the website. But seeing it in person is something else," Aegri spoke, pulling her stare back to the Zombieland below.
