Chapter 4 - a new beginning

It's now noon time. After eating I am now feeling somehow relax. I am now laying on my bead now as it still hurts to do normal physical activity.

This house has three rooms, two big and one small. I am now sleeping in one of this rooms. the other room is used by my parents, yes I have parents as the body I now have is only late teens. The other room is used to store food. Though it mostly has meat as my parents are hunters.

And this is also the reason why this body went into the forest to try learning hunting. Normally he wasn't allowed but as his parents aren't home so he used this opportunity to sneek out. Just like him I also need to learn hunting otherwise I will die from hunger soon.

There is a rule in this village that the parents will only take care of there children at the age of twenty and this body is nearing that age so if I don't learn to hunt soon I will surely die. As I was thinking about my uncertain future I fall asleep.

I woke up from my slumber, I found myself shivering in the cold and dimly lit room. The only source of light was the moon, casting its eerie glow through the small window. The room was made of rough stone walls and a dirt floor. The cold air seeped in through the cracks and crevices, making me wrap my arms around myself for warmth. The silence was deafening, and the only sound I could hear was my stomach growling from hunger. The musty smell of the room mixed with the smell of wet soil and decaying leaves from outside. The moonlight illuminated the room just enough for me to see that there was a wooden bowl filled with berries beside me. I realized that I must have been brought here by the old man, who had left the bowl for me.

As I sat in the dimly lit room, shivering from the cold, I sat up from the pile of furs that I was lying on, shivering in the cold.I frantically searched for a source of warmth. My eyes settled on a pile of dry leaves and twigs in the corner of the room, and without a second thought, I reached for them., I noticed my hands moving in a familiar pattern, as if on their own accord. It was then that I realized that my body knew how to make fire, even if my mind didn't.With shaky hands, I began to arrange the leaves and twigs in a small pile, using some dried moss I found as kindling. I then took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, trying to calm my racing heart. With a trembling hand, I used a small flint stone to create a spark, Suddenly, a spark appeared which landed on the moss and ignited it instantly. A small flame flickered to life,I stared in amazement as the fire grew bigger, illuminating the room and providing warmth to my cold body. and I quickly added more fuel to keep it burning.

As the fire grew in intensity, its warmth began to spread throughout the room. I sat huddled by the fire, feeling its comforting heat seep into my bones and drive away the chill. It was a strange feeling,

I sat there, staring at the fire, lost in my thoughts. How was it possible that my body knew how to make a fire? What other abilities did it possess that I didn't know about? I shook my head, pushing those thoughts aside for the moment. Right now, all that mattered was the warmth of the fire and the relief it brought to my body.

As I huddled next to the fire, my stomach grumbling with hunger, my eyes landed on the wooden bowl filled with berries that the old man had left for me, I think. I grabbed it eagerly, hungrily devouring the sweet fruit, savoring each burst of flavor. But the berries alone would not satisfy my hunger, and so I turned to the meat that was in the room.

I had never roasted meat before, but it was as if my body knew what to do. Instinctively, I skewered the meat with a sharp stick and held it over the fire, turning it carefully until it was cooked to perfection. The aroma of the roasted meat wafted through the air, making my mouth water. As I ate, I couldn't help but wonder how I knew how to make fire and cook food, even though I had no recollection of ever doing so before. It tasted surprisingly delicious, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in my ability to fend for myself in this primitive environment.

As I sat there, staring into the flames, memories of my previous life flooded my mind once again. It felt like a lifetime ago when I was just a blue-collar worker, struggling to make ends meet. But now, I was living in a completely different world, a world where survival was the only thing that mattered.

The crackling of the fire and the chirping of the crickets outside the wooden walls of the hut were the only sounds around me. The silence was deafening, yet it was soothing at the same time. I tried to focus on my current situation, but my mind kept wandering back to the memories of my previous life.

I wondered if there was anyone else out there like me, who had been transported to this prehistoric world against their will. But then again, even if there was, how would I ever find them? I was completely alone in this harsh world.

The sound of the wind howling outside made me shiver. It was a constant reminder of the dangers lurking outside my makeshift home. But for now, all I could do was sit and wait for the morning to come, hoping that I would survive another day in this cruel world

The first light of dawn was just appearing on the horizon, casting a warm orange glow across the sky, I got out of bed and walked towards the window, the cool breeze hit my face and the fresh scent of the forest filled my nostrils. . I gazed out at the view and felt a sense of awe wash over me.The sky was painted with hues of orange and pink, and the sun was just starting to peek over the horizon. The air was crisp and refreshing, and the scent of fresh dew and blooming flowers filled my nostrils. In the distance, I saw a beautiful forest with tall trees swaying in the gentle breeze

The forest before me was bathed In a mystical light, and the trees seemed to be alive with a strange energy. In the distance, I could see a misty mountain range that looked like it was floating on the horizon. The air was filled with the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves, creating a soothing symphony. I stood there taking in the breathtaking scenery,

In the midst of all this beauty, there was a hint of something magical. I could sense a faint energy pulsing through the forest, and I knew that there was more to this place than met the eye. It was as if the forest was alive and had a mind of its own.

As I stood there, lost in thought, I heard a distant howling. It was a haunting sound that echoed through the forest, sending shivers down my spine. But at the same time, it was also a reminder that I was not alone in this world, and that there was still much to discover.

Overall, the scene was both calming and mysterious, and it filled me with a sense of wonder and excitement. The background sound effect of the chirping birds, rustling leaves, and distant howling added to the ambiance, making it an unforgettable experience.
