Chapter 407 - Vampires Vs Werewolves (Part 3)

The tension in the room was palpable as the vampire's presence sent shockwaves through the men. Watson, Miller, and Jacob exchanged wary glances, silently communicating the need for caution.

The vampire continued to smirk, clearly relishing the fear he had instilled in the room. "You werewolves are always so predictable," he taunted, his voice oozing with arrogance. "Now, which one of you is the leader? I assume it's not the feeble human."

"oh, No," The Vampire said again, "I can only smell one human, one Werewolf and what the hell are you?" he pointed at Miller, "because you don't have the smell of a human."

Miller, looked at him, his expression unreadable as he asked, "do you want to harm my friends?"

The vampire's grin widened, revealing his sharp fangs. "What I want is simple," he replied, his voice dripping with malice. "I want to see the Werewolf kind eradicated. Starting with you, but what are you? Cause you are not a Werewolf."

"Even me, I don't know the full answer," Miller answered his question, "but I know if you attempt to hurt my friends, I would teach you a lesson, you would never forget."

Gary didn't want a quick death for the werewolves. He wanted them to suffer. He struck at their limbs, not their vitals, keeping them alive but unable to fight back. "You've always been beasts," he snarled, kicking Samantha Jones in the stomach. She let out a pained cry as her body flew backwards. Gary turned his attention to Sophie, his blade shining in the moonlight. "Beasts deserve to be put down," he said, and thrust the blade into her stomach. Sophie gasped, a mixture of pain and fear flashing across her face.

Sophie's eyes met Gary's, pleading for mercy. But they were met with nothing but cold steel. With a sickening crack, the blade was wrenched from her body, and she fell to the floor. The other werewolves stood, frozen, watching in horror. They were next. There was no escape, no hope. Gary stood over them, his eyes wild, his face twisted into a mask of rage. He raised the blade high above his head, and a sudden silence fell over the room.

Christopher watched in anguish, knowing he had to act.

Sophie lay motionless on the ground, blood pooling around her. For a moment, everyone stood frozen in horror. And then, as if in slow motion, Sophie's hand twitched. It was only a slight movement, but it was enough to give the werewolves hope. Perhaps she wasn't dead after all. Perhaps there was still a chance to save her.

Christopher, Ethan, Henry, and Olivia launched a coordinated attack on Gary, hoping to overpower him and save their friends. They fought with all their strength, but Gary proved to be a formidable opponent. His vampire speed and strength allowed him to effortlessly evade their attacks and strike back with brutal precision.

In a sickening twist of fate, Gary disarmed Christopher and Olivia, leaving them exposed. Henry was knocked off balance by the fierce battle, and he crashed against a tree, dazed and confused. Before anyone could react, Gary advanced on the weakened Ethan, who was struggling to stand. Ethan's eyes widened in terror as Gary smiled a cold, wicked smile. Without hesitation, he drove the sharp blade into Ethan's skull, killing him instantly. The forest was deathly silent, and the werewolves stood frozen in disbelief, their hearts heavy with sorrow.

In a rage, the remaining werewolves pounced, their claws and fangs bared. Samantha and Jessica, driven by grief and fury, launched a furious assault. Isaac was like a wild animal, tearing at Gary with ruthless abandon. But it was too late. Gary was too strong, too cunning. In a flash of silver, he took down Isaac and Samantha, killing them both, with a single strike by cutting off their heads easily with his blade. The first year students stood frozen in horror, their eyes wide with terror. They knew they were powerless to stop Gary, and that their own lives were in grave danger.

At this moment, the sole survivors among the Werewolves were Sophie, lying wounded on the ground with a blade having pierced her stomach, but the blade was no longer there, and Alexander, who also suffered a stomach wound inflicted by Gary. Benjamin, recovering at a distance, remained poised to strike at a moment's notice. Joining them were three First Year Students: Jessica, Christopher, Daniel, Gabriel, along with Henry, Olivia, and Lucas.

"You three had nothing to do with this," Christopher said, addressing the first year students. "Get out of here, and don't look back. We'll do our best to hold him off as long as we can."

"Don't touch the forcefield!" Henry called after them. And with that, the three students were off like a shot, bounding away on all fours, their fear propelling them forward. They raced through the trees, branches whipping at their faces, their hearts pounding. They had to get away, they had to escape.

"Do you really think you can defeat me?" Gary taunted, his voice dripping with contempt. He held up his blade, stained crimson with blood. "It thirsts for more," he hissed, brandishing it like a trophy. "More blood!" he cried, and with that, he charged at the werewolves.

The werewolves held their ground, their claws digging into the earth, their muscles tense with anticipation. The wind rushed through their fur, their fangs bared. This was it. The battle was on.

With a shout, Christopher swung his claws at Gary's helmet, hoping to pry it from his head. But to his horror, his claws shattered on impact, leaving him defenseless. From behind, Gabriel lunged at Gary's shoulder, aiming to bite through the armor. But Gary's armor held firm, and Gabriel's fangs shattered against it. As Gary reeled back, Lucas threw a punch, sending him hurtling into a tree. The tree splintered on impact, and Gary slumped to the ground, dazed and disoriented.

With a resounding BANG!, the next assault came courtesy of Daniel. Though their attempts to breach Gary's impenetrable armour were futile, they persisted in their efforts to weaken his armor. It was evident that their endeavors were falling short, yet there was some satisfaction in the sight of Gary's mouth now filled with blood. His visage remained concealed by the armor, but the werewolves could discern the telltale signs of their impact.

With all the strength she could muster, Jessica lifted Gary off the ground and slammed him into the nearest tree. At the same time, Gabriel delivered a powerful punch to Gary's right wrist, and he let out a howl of pain as the sword clattered to the ground. Olivia wasted no time in snatching it up and tossing it as far as she could into the woods. The seven werewolves surrounded Gary, their eyes blazing with determination. They were not about to let him recover. Not this time.

Alexander's body had now fully healed, so was Sophie and Benjamin as well.

'It seems like we are going to kill this Vampire today,' Alexander thought. Neither did any of the Werewolves know that Gary had another trick up his sleeve...
