(EARLIER TODAY)
Emily woke up from her bed and stormed out of her room. Both of her roommates, Lillian and Catherine, didn't understand why Emily left the room so angrily. She left very early in the morning, around 5:47 AM. It was very early in the morning and people weren't expected to be outside this time. So what made her storm out of the room?
Last night, Emily and her boyfriend; Jason Tuner had a heated argument. It was related to her closeness to Miller. Jason didn't like the fact that Emily was getting close to Miller. He didn't even want her to get close to any boy in the school and whenever he brings up the matter, she would retaliate aggressively and last night. They argued through text and she had informed him that she wants to say words in his face and if he was a man. He should come outside The next Morning.
When she woke up around 5:30AM. She called his phone several times, until he finally picked. Jason attacked Emily when she pleaded for forgiveness that she didn't know what came over her when she retaliated last night. Jason didn't listen and he told her they should come outside and talk at around 5:45AM.
Emily was still on her bed. Then messages started ringing on her phone. It was from Jason informing her that he was already at their Hostel entrance waiting for her.
Emily let out a big sigh and with anger stormed out of the room.
She had arrived at the gates of their First Year Female Hostel and she could see Jason standing there. Both of his hands were in his pocket and he was ready to argue with her. His frowned face said it all.
"I don't want you getting close to Miller," Jason blurted out. "He's bad news, and I don't want to see you get hurt."
Emily's eyes widened in disbelief. "You can't be serious," she said. "You don't get to decide who I can and can't be friends with. Miller is a good guy, and I'm not going to stop being friends with him just because you're jealous."
"I'm not jealous!" Jason protested. "I'm just worried about you.
For a moment, Emily felt like saying that he was the bad boy here. He was a school Bully and that was what he always did in school. Emily sometimes wonder why she fell in love with him in the first place. But like they always say. LOVE IS BLIND.
Emily actually had reasons why she wanted to get closer to Miller. But she couldn't tell her boyfriend; at least not yet.
"You don't have to worry about Miller..." Emily stopped as the two of them looked at what was standing.
It was a person and he was standing a few steps away. The person was dressed in black. Totally black. The black robe wasn't tight. It was big. So you wouldn't be able to even figure out the size of this unknown person. The robe covered his entire body and even his head. None of his body features could be seen.
Seeing someone like this made Emily and Jason fear a little.
"Emily, run," Jason Commanded.
The unknown person Whispered words that the two couldn't hear. Emily wanted to run, but for some unknown reason her legs started moving backwards towards the unknown person. Emily was looking in the other direction and her legs were moving in reverse. She kept on looking at the hostel as she was getting more distant away from it.
Jason seeing this ran back. He didn't understand what was going on with Emily and his greatest suspicions was the unknown person was doing Magic. The Anti-Meta Human Officers had warned them that secret Magicians were in their school. Was this one of them? If This is one of them. Are they in danger?
It was clear, the unknown person was dressed in a Magician's robe that they used to read from books.
"Leave her alone." Jason shouted at the mysterious man.
The unknown person didn't even budge. With Anger Jason ran towards the unknown person at full Speed. Before Jason reached the unknown. The unknown person raised his left hand towards Jason. All this while none of the unknown person's features have been seen. Even when the unknown person raised his left hand towards Jason. The robe was still big and covered the arm, so no arm could be seen.
Jason legs instantly stopped moving. His entire body was moving except his legs. His arms and head could move freely except his legs.
"What have you done to Me." Jason shouted. He wanted to go and try his best to help Emily, but he couldn't.
"Jason." Emily said as tears left her cheek.
"Emily!." Jason shouted at the top of his voice hoping maybe others would hear. He extended both arms and was trying his best to move. But he couldn't.
Emily found herself in front of the man, unable to control her own body. Her body turned and faced the unknown person. It was like the unknown person was the one in charge of her own body. Her body refused to obey any of her commands. The unknown person kept on whispering words she didn't understand and then he placed his right thumb on her forehead.
"Emily. Somebody Help." Jason shouted. Immediately the man touched Emily with his thumb. Emily fell on the floor lifeless. She was no longer breathing. It wasn't clear if she was dead or simply fainted. it was hard to tell.
The unknown person continued Whispering and then a bright light covered him and Emily and now they were no more. They had teleported; in an instant, Jason's legs were free.
"Emily. No... Emily... Where are you." Jason said. Emily and the unknown person was no more. They had teleported.
"Emily!" Jason shouted as he broke down in tears.
