Chapter 229 - Hide These Bodies

A sense of foreboding hung in the air, thick and heavy like a storm cloud. Both Alex and Miller stood in silence, their bodies tense and their eyes fixed on the door. A creak of the hinges sounded, followed by the soft click of the latch. Inch by inch, the door inched open, revealing the shadowy figure of a man standing in the doorway. The tension was almost unbearable, and the two boy's hearts pounded in their chests as they waited to see what would happen next.

"Hey, Jason, Brandon doesn't like to wait." One of the boys said. "If they are late that's their business, besides we don't even know if they are in the room and we can always cover up for them why they didn't come early."

Jason paused, he hadn't opened the door fully and looked inside, so he had no clue his friends were already dead.

"Okay." Jason said. "But I still don't understand why Brandon is so interested in this punk named Miller."

Miller who was inside his room wanted to Immediately retaliate, but Alex had already closed his mouth and Miller remembered the dead bodies on the floor they wouldn't be able to explain what happened here. So he decided to shut up. But right now, Miller now knows why Jason has been trying to get close to him. It's because of Brandon Joseph. But why?

"Yeah, he is just useless." Thomas Venn added.

"Guys, let's go," the other boy said. "Brandon doesn't like waiting."

And with that Jason closed the door Completely. Jason had only opened the door a few centimeters, not large enough for him and his friends to see Alex and Miller who were both standing at the center of the room close to the dead bodies. So they had no clue.

"Ah, Thank Goodness." Alex said.

It was like he couldn't breathe. Alex had even forgotten that he had the Ability to wipe their memories. Him and Miller were both scared. Even if these two were extremely fast, they wouldn't be able to remove these bodies from the room instantly especially as Jason and his friends were already standing at his door.

"That was close." Miller said.

Alex Immediately used his super speed to run to the door and locked it immediately.

"So what are we going to do with these bodies." He said.

"We would have to Hide these bodies." Miller said.

"Where?" Alex asked.

"I don't know yet." Miller said. "We have to cover up every trace that this happened."

"Does this mean we have to kill anyone that knows about this?." Alex asked.

Miller just realized this. The reply he had given looked like someone who had gotten used to Murder. Was it because he was in Level 9 and had the Killer Mode Problem.

"No...No... That's not what i mean." Miller said trying to get himself right. He had no intentions to kill anyone right now.

Honestly speaking, he was at first not happy when he found out that Alex killed these humans. But right now, his feelings were neutral. It was like he didn't even care.

'What the hell is wrong with me.' He Thought.

Miller's thoughts were racing, and he was struggling to find the right words to express himself. "I don't want to kill anyone," he said, his voice cracking with emotion. "But we can't let this incident get out. We have to keep it secret, whatever it takes."

As he spoke, he realized that he was becoming less and less like the man he had been before. He was losing his humanity, becoming more and more like a so called Throsk'Bok. He was starting to wonder if it was even possible to go back to the way he was before. Miller before didn't even like the idea of getting hurt or inflicting pain on another. But that was all different know and it seems like it was increasing daily.

Miller knew that they needed to dispose of the bodies in a way that would ensure they were never found. Burying them seemed like the most logical solution, but it would be a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. Plus, there was always the risk that someone would stumble upon the burial site and uncover the truth. Still, it was the best option they had.

"We'll have to bury them somewhere remote," Miller said, his voice sounding strangely detached.

Alex agreed. "As for Jason and his friends." Miller continued. "If they keep on asking us any questions we would deny and if they keep on persisting that we'll give them an answer. We would ki..."

This time Miller used his hand to cover his mouth.

'What is wrong with me? Why do i want to kill? Or Killer Mode problem has a lot of problem than I could have possibly imagined.' Miller thought to himself.

Alex's eyes widened in shock as Miller spoke, and he cut him off before he could finish his sentence. "No!" he exclaimed, his voice shaking with emotion. "We can't kill anyone, even if they're asking questions. That's not who we are. We can't let this situation change us, make us into something we're not."

Miller looked at Alex, and for a moment, the cold, calculating look in his eyes seemed to soften. "You're right," he said, the faintest trace of humanity returning to his voice. "We can't let this turn us into monsters."

And with that, the two boys used their superhuman speed to clean up the mess in the room. It only took them a matter of minutes to clear away the bloodstains and other evidence of what had happened. They then carefully placed the bodies of the three boys into a large black bag, and carried it outside. To their surprise, the entire hostel was empty, as the second lecture of the day had just started.

Miller suggested that perhaps Watson had not arrived because he had was already attending lectures.

Miller put all his Stats into his Speed and Alex used his super speed and the two boys ran as fast as they can into the thick bushes (where the Werewolves and Vampires usually take their meeting).

They had arrived and dug a hole and buried the three boys. Before they covered them back with mud. Miller looked at Harry's face with a little pity. After that they left.

Inside the bushes close to where they had buried the bodies. Someone Physical presence started to manifest. This person had turned invisible this whole time and was right here when Miller and Alex were burrying the bodies and Miller and Alex weren't able to sense her.

"So what are these two hiding." Catherine who had kept herself Invisible through the use of Magic said to herself.
