Chapter 230 - Who The Hell Are You?

Watson was inside the class with the other students. They were learning the course Global Governance And Diplomacy.

The classroom was brightly lit, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The desks were arranged in neat rows, with students sitting at each one, listening attentively to the professor as he lectured at the front of the room. Watson sat near the back, his head propped up on his hand as he tried to focus on the lesson. The dry subject matter made it hard to pay attention, and his thoughts kept drifting to the strange events of the morning. He couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right.

He was actually thinking about Alex's bloodlust problem and how it might affect them in the room. Watson wasn't comfortable with the fact that Miller or Alex wasn't here. Miller was the one who had informed him to leave and go to class even if he doesn't come early back when they were in the Cafeteria.

The professor stood at the front of the room, dressed in a crisp suit and tie. His dark hair was neatly combed, and his posture was impeccable. He had a no-nonsense air about him, and he spoke with authority and precision. He introduced himself as Professor Edward Clarke, and began the lecture on Global Governance And Diplomacy. His voice was clear and commanding, and he held the attention of the class effortlessly.

As he spoke, Watson found himself captivated by the professor's words. It was clear that this man was an expert in his field, and he had a wealth of knowledge to share.

The class had ended and the first thing, Watson did was to head to his room to meet his roommates.

When Watson got to the room, he asked both Miller and Alex what happened. Why they didn't come to class.

"Hey guys," Watson said as he entered the room, "What's going on? You weren't in class today. I thought something might have happened."

Miller and Alex exchanged a look, and Miller spoke up. "Well, it's kind of a long story. But we'll fill you in."

Miller had no intentions to hide anything from Watson and so he had urged Alex to tell Watson the truth of what had happened even before Watson had arrived.

"Well. They deserved it," Watson said.

As the moon rose high in the sky, Arthur sat alone in his room, lost in thought. He was still reeling from the day's events, and his mind was racing with unanswered questions. Who - or what - was Miller, really? Arthur couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to this situation than met the eye.

As the clock ticked closer to curfew, Arthur made a decision. He would have to find the answers he was looking for, no matter what it took. He just needed to see what kind of information Alex would be able to fetch.

Arthur greatest suggestion was that Miller was a Dhampir and he had done something to change his scent. If Miller is truly a Dhampir, he would take the pleasure to kill him himself. If he does so, his reward would be great in the Vampire Settlement.

The sound of the door opening could be heard as his three roommate walked in. His roommate are Raymond Huntington, Simon Curly and Stefan CASTELLAN. These three were the other Vampires who followed him to the Martial Arts class.

"I believe you guys all noticed a different scent in the Martial Arts hall." Arthur said. He was actually talking about Miller.

"Yes, it came from the boy you sat with." Stefan said.

"It's true," Raymond chimed in. "He had a scent unlike anything I've ever smelled before. It was strange and otherworldly. I can't even describe it."

"He was definitely hiding something," Simon said, a serious look on his face. "I don't know what it is, but I don't like it. We need to be careful around him."

Arthur nodded, deep in thought. "I agree. We need to be cautious..."

Arthur wasn't able to complete his sentence because, in an instant, their window had broken. Something had been thrown inside. All the boys Immediately ran a few steps backwards and with their Vampiric eyes, they looked at what was thrown.

The object was spherical, like a ball, with holes dotting its surface.

PUFF!

It started emitted a thick, white smoke that filled the room, making it difficult for a human to see. The smoke was so dense, it was almost as if it had a physical presence. It felt like it was seeping into every corner of the room, filling the air with its mysterious haze. Arthur couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding, as if something terrible was about to happen.

The three of them were Vampires and they could still see clearly. That was until...

"Ah!" They all shouted in unison.

"My eyes...."

"what's going on."

"My eyes are burning."

They complained as they used the palm of their hands to cover their eyes. Their eyes had turned red, it wasn't red Because of them being a Vampire. It had turned red like it was close to fire.

"Who ever made this, has an idea of what we are." Arthur said.

After a while the smokes were now no more. But it had already done it's work and that was making the eyes of the Vampires blur. Arthur and the others couldn't see clearly. They were surprised. They never had an idea that such a thing could happen to a Vampire.

THUD!

Someone had just entered through the window. The person moved at a speed a human could not attain.

'This is not a human.' Simon thought.

Although, they couldn't see clearly they could see that a figure was now in their room.

"Who the Hell Are You?" Arthur asked.

The figure didn't answer Immediately, it came closer and now they could see. It was dressed in a mask that looked like that of a demon and it had two swords. "I am A Vampire's Greatest Enemy." it said.

'It is a Dhampir...'
