Chapter 223 - It's best to Lie

Honestly, Miller had expected this question to come sooner or later. Based on their fight and the smell he had, Alex could clearly know that he wasn't human. Even the Werewolves knew he wasn't human, based on his scent. The problem is nobody knows that Miller is a Throsk'Bok. Even Miller still has no clue what a Throsk'Bok is. But he just knows he is one.

Miller let out a big sigh, and he decided to tell him. But he wasn't going to tell him the whole truth. He was going to tell him what he had told Emily and Lillian, just to satisfy his curiosity. The only person who knows about his System currently is only James Theodore and Watson Simmons.

When it comes to his Killer Mode Problem. The only person that knows the full story is Watson Simmons. As for Jacob he knows what Miller had decided to tell him; A Lie.

"I was born this way." Miller said. Miller went on to tell him that he was born this way with Super Strength, Agility, Hearing, Smell and so on. He didn't tell him about X-ray or Memory Abilities he had. He went on to tell him that his powers started manifesting when he turned eighteen.

After that, Miller knew he needed help about this Killer Mode Stuff. And he decided to tell him thesame thing he had told Jacob. Miller was trying as much as possible to keep the System's existence from them all. Besides he didn't trust them fully and neither did the System.

Miller went on to tell him that he gets weaker at a certain stage and now was the time and when he is totally weak. He would turn into a monster and must make a Kill.

"You really need help then." Alex said with pity.

From the Killer Mode aspect, Alex felt like him being a Vampire was better than Miller's current state. The idea of him getting weaker at a certain stage of life until he make a kill wasn't a good idea for him. Alex wasn't a psychopath. He wouldn't like to kill anyone.

Moments later, Watson had arrived in the room, and they were all heading to the Library. Watson couldn't stop to talk about how amazing his class was.

Watson had performed so good that the Teacher said that Watson might be his Favourite student. Of course, this wasn't a surprise to someone like Miller; who knew fully that Watson was actually smart.

They entered the Cafeteria, joined the queue, and waited for their turn to order food.

(PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS DON'T BUY FOOD FROM THE CAFETERIA. IT IS FREELY GIVEN. A STUDENT IS EXPECTED TO HAVE AT LEAST THREE MEALS A DAY. THE CAFETERIA FOODS ARE FREE, BUT THE OTHER RESTAURANTS WITHIN THE CONFINEMENT OF THE GIGANTIC SCHOOL WALLS WEREN'T FREE)

Inside the Cafeteria at the other hand were four boys they had been given a Task by Jason Turner to mess Alex up.

(NOTE: IF YOU CAN'T REMEMBER WHEN THEY WERE GIVEN THIS TASK. GO AND READ CHAPTER 215 [CATHERINE NIGHTSHADE])

The had been given this task yesterday, but they weren't able to fulfill it because according to Jason. They should mess Alex up without showing him pity. If they beat Alex in public, students would gather to watch, and that would draw the attention of the school authorities. They needed to do it where nobody would disturb them.

One of them there was Harry Kenner, who was Jason Turner's best friend.

"It's like the queue Isn't even moving." Alex complained.

One thing Alex hated the most in his life was to stand in a queue and wait. He even felt like he should just use his Mind control Ability as a Vampire right now to make everyone allow him to get his food and leave.

Alex had noticed that over a while now. His Agility, Strength and other things related to him has been more sharper. It was like he had gone into training. This all happened when he took a taste of Miller's blood. Alex had a strong belief that Miller might be a Supernatural or maybe a Mystical being that he has no idea of. But when Miller told him he was born like this and that his powers started manifesting when he turned eighteen. Most of his hopes were lost.

Alex had tasted human blood before and he could Vogue that Miller's blood was sweeter.

'Why am i even standing here.' Alex thought. 'I am a Vampire, i wouldn't even enjoy the meal.'

That was the truth. As A Vampire, his taste buds reacted differently to food. Most food tasted blunt and the most delicious thing a Vampire could feel was the blood of a Human. But as Alex; he had tasted the best blood ever; Miller's blood.

He immediately removed the thought of him asking Miller to give him his blood again. He knew Vampires can get addicted to blood and he didn't want to and besides, he still needs to practice more of his calm. So that he would be able to supress those urges.

"Miller. I am no longer hungry. " Alex said to Miller. "I will be going to our room. When you guys are done eating. You can come and meet me there."

Before Miller could reply, Alex had already started moving to the hostel.

"He is leaving. Let's keep an eye on him." Harry Kenner, who had been keeping an eye on Alex, said to his friends.

'We are going to teach you a lesson.' Harry Kenner thought.

The four boys then followed Alex to the hostel, with the aim of teaching him a lesson. But none of them had no clue that they had just made their greatest mistake. Alex was a Vampire and was much more strong than them humans.
