Alex was heading to the room in the First Year Male Hostel building. On his way, he met Arthur. Arthur was standing at the First Year Male Hostel gate and his face looked serious like always.
'What's wrong now.' Alex thought.
"Hi. Arthur." Alex said forcing a smile as he waved at Arthur.
He didn't have any intentions to enter into any conversation with Arthur. But it seems like Arthur was interested to have a conversation, as Arthur had already blocked his way with his body.
"Alex. It's been a long time since we've talked." Arthur said. Arthur was folding his hands and his face looked serious as ever. "Let's go to your room. We need to talk." Arthur Commanded.
Alex was uncomfortable with the idea of having a conversation. Even if Alex wasn't close to Arthur, he knew a few things about Arthur and one of them being the fact that Arthur was always a serious individual. And from the phrase he had just said. It was like what he wanted to tell him was really serious.
Arthur and Alex had now entered Alex's room. Nobody was there, and they could talk however they liked. This was the first time Arthur had entered Alex's room. He had no idea which room Alex was in. The Hostel is a big one and thus finding the room of another isn't easy.
When they entered the room. The first thing Arthur noticed was the little dent at the wall and the other one at the center of the room. Some books and items were used to cover the one on the dent. But with Arthur's Vampiric eyes, he was able to pinpoint an opening. The dent at the center of the room was a lot larger than the one at the wall and a mattress of some sort was used to cover it. From the appearance it looked like a fight took place here.
"What happened here?" Arthur asked.
Alex knew what Arthur meant but he pretended he didn't. "What do you mean." Alex said.
"you know what I mean, you Fool." Arthur replied aggressively. Arthur knew that Alex knew what he was talking about, but he was just pretending he didn't and Arthur hated that.
"I Honestly don't know." Alex replied. He wasn't happy with the reply Arthur had given him.
Fine, he was a trash bag back at the Vampire Settlement. But that didn't mean the Vampires Should always treat him that way.
Arthur moved forward and looked at him in the eye. "Don't mess with me, Boy. What really happened here?"
Alex this time didn't reply him and this offended Arthur. Arthur face changed instantly like he was about to erupt like a volcano. He sent his hands to slap Alex's face.
GRIP!
Alex held his hand mid-air and his hand didn't budge again.
"It seems like you have gotten stronger." Arthur said as Alex let go of the grip and Arthur dropped back his hand.
As Arthur moved, turned his back towards Alex with the aim of leaving the room. A broad smile appeared on Alex's face.
'It's true, I have really gotten stronger.' Alex thought. Alex knew he was the weakest in the group, but just now he was able to hold Arthur's hand mid-air without much effort. It was like their strengths had just pared.
Arthur stopped Immediately he got close to the door. He remembered something he needed to ask. He told and looked at Alex and said:
"That boy, Miller Edward, are you and him already close?" He asked.
Alex knew that Arthur was always a curious person and he had smelt Miller's scent and he knew not what that scent meant.
"Not yet." Alex replied.
"I want to give you a Task." Arthur said.
"What task is that." Alex replied.
"Get all the information you can about this boy. I want to know what he is." Arthur said. "He might even be a Dhampir."
"Yes. I will." Alex replied and Arthur left the room without saying another word.
'A Dhampir. Maybe he is actually one of them.' Alex thought. Alex started to think about when Miller asked him questions about a Dhampir. What if Miller was a Dhampir and they couldn't recognize it through his scent.
He started to look at the wall and the center of the room. He touched both dents. He knew a normal human being wouldn't be able to recover from that. They would have to go to the hospital, but Miller recovered.
'Miller is hiding something.' Alex thought. He vowed to now keep an eye on Miller. He might be living with a Dhampir without him realizing. That would even explain why Miller's blood was sweeter.
*Knock Knock
A knock had interrupted him in his thought. He headed to open the door. But the door had already been open and in came Harry Kenner and the three other boys.
"My roommates are not around." Alex said. He thought maybe these guys might be friends of Watson or Miller. "They are in the Cafeteria."
"That's not what we want." one of the boy's said. "We want to teach you a lesson."
They all started clenching their fists and one of them closed the door behind them. Alex's smile widened. What better way to test his new found strength than against humans.
"I love this. A Friendly Fight." Alex said as he dashed towards the four boys.
