Chapter 188 - An Illegal is in your School

In the world of this novel, "Illegals" are Mutants who defy the government's authority and refuse to conform to the established rules and regulations governing their kind. The term "Illegals" refers to those Mutants who do not enroll in the designated Mutant Schools or choose to join the specified roles as Anti-Meta Human Officers or Anti-Meta Human Traveller Soldiers.

Being classified as an "Illegal" carries dire consequences, as the government views such individuals as threats to their control and stability. The punishment for being an "Illegal" is death, indicating the severe measures taken by the authorities to maintain their dominance over the Mutant population.

Furthermore, the strict control and surveillance extend beyond just the "Illegals" themselves. Even knowing the presence of an "Illegal" and not reporting it to the government is considered a punishable offense, and individuals who fail to comply face the same fate as those they seek to protect.

The term "Illegals" thus represents the government's iron grip on the Mutant community, enforcing conformity and punishing any form of resistance. The fear and consequences associated with this term create an atmosphere of tension, secrecy, and moral dilemmas for the characters in the novel. The existence of "Illegals" challenges characters to question their allegiances, grapple with their beliefs, and make difficult choices in a world where survival may depend on navigating a treacherous and oppressive system.

(NOTE THIS: It was because of Mutants, the one world government was formed in the first place. But that would be discussed later, for now let us focus on Miller's school life)

When they called an Illegal. The first person that entered both Emily, Lillian and Watson's head was Miller who was sitting close to them.

Miller looked concerned. But he still kept quiet. So many students started talking to each other, left and right, about the possibility that an Illegal is in their school and what it would mean for them as students.

Bradley continued his speech: "Don't worry, You should all calm down. Anti-Meta Human Officers are here to protect you from their threat. We wouldn't leave until we catch the Magician and the Illegal. They may be one or two or even up to ten or more."

"Anyone who is an Illegal in this school should report to the government; otherwise, if caught. He would face the consequences." Bradley said. "And all those who know who the Illegal or Illegals is or are would also face the consequences."

Those words sent shiver to Miller's spine. He knew what that meant for him and those around him who knew his secrets. Miller had been informed by the System that he wasn't a Mutant, but a Throsk'Bok. But would they even understand? Since no one knows what a Throsk'Bok is, would they believe him? Why would he even come out to be under the control of the government? He didn't like that?

Students were still not okay. This school was a normal school, but the existence of an illegal in their school wasn't something they would like at all.

The announcement had finally ended and Miller and Watson wanted to head to the cafeteria, but they were blocked by two individuals. Lillian and Emily stood by the way.

"So where are we heading." Emily said. She looked at Miller at the eyes.

This was one of the few times Miller had gotten this close to the girl of his 'dreams' and a smile almost appeared on his face. This girl was really beautiful.

"I know." Lillian added. "Why don't we go to the School Garden. The library is under repair due to the damage you and your colleagues caused."

Lillian said those last words given Miller a wink. He clearly understood what she meant by those words, she was implying about him and the Werewolves.

Without not much to hide and what to do. Miller and Watson followed them to the School Garden.

When the two of them left the hall, Jason Tuner; Miller's boyfriend saw them leave. He was looking at them from a certain area. He clenched his fist hard in anger.

His friend; Harry Kenner who was standing at his left hand side gave him a friend pat on his shoulders and said:

"Bro, we have to deal with him. We can't let Miller go with that. He can't take your girlfriend away...."

"Just shut up!" Jason snapped at Harry and he left the place with Anger and was heading towards him room.

Jason didn't want to have anything to do with Miller especially after what Miller had done to him. Whenever he saw Miller, he remembered how Miller had beaten him and his friends the other day and how he was taking to the school medical center. He clearly didn't want that.

Miller, Watson, Emily and Lillian had entered the School Garden. When they got there, Emily made a joke about how Miller fooled them the other day and they all laughed.

They went to the school garden and found a secluded spot. Miller didn't want to tell the girls anything relating to the System and Planet Citarada. He just felt like keeping not telling them; besides he wasn't even obligated to.

He told the girls that he was born that way. He told them he had super strength, agility, hearing, smell and so on. He didn't tell them about the X-ray and memory Abilities he also had. As for the X-ray, Watson already knew, but for the Memory Abilities, only Miller knew. And finally, the day was over.

Miller and Watson went to their room. It was a Saturday and tomorrow was Sunday and on Monday, the batch B's are coming and on Wednesday, the School Calendar would fully start. Miller promised himself that he would go and ask the Werewolves tomorrow about what really happened to the Vampires....
