Miller was now in a secluded area away from the preying eyes of others. He wanted to ask the System so many questions. Before he could begin, people started moving to and fro. He felt uncomfortable and then he decided to go to his room.
Miller and Watson had not talked for a while now. Because of the secrets Miller was hiding the two of them drew a line in their friendship. Miller was actually doing it to protect his friend, he knew Watson was the curious type and he didn't want anything to happen to Watson.
He just wanted Watson to stay in the dark for his own protection. He didn't want Watson to know about his role as a LOKI LUPIN, the Werewolves, That he is now a Throsk'Bok, The System and other things related.
On the way to the Hostel, he was praying that he wouldn't meet Watson inside their room. Miller couldn't bear the awkward silence in the room anymore, sometimes he wanted to tell Watson the truth, but he remembered he was doing it for Watson's safety.
Miller had finally entered the room and for once he was happy that the boy wasn't inside. He now had enough space to talk to the System.
"Hello, System" Miller said Inside his head to the System as he sat down on a Sofa inside the room.
"Hello, Miller," the System replied to him.
"What actually happened there, What do you mean by an ability has been triggered?" Miller asked.
"The activation of your ability, Technopathy, was unintentionally triggered during your collision with the Anti-Meta Human officer. Technopathy allows you to communicate with and influence technological systems and devices. In this case, the System recognized your connection with the officer and granted you a sub-skill of Summoning Pact called the Technopathy. However, please note that the ability to influence and possess others has been withheld until the System deems you fit for such powers. The experience points granted to you signify your growth and progress within the System. Is there anything else you would like to inquire about, Miller?" The System replied.
"What's SUMMONING PACT?" Miller asked another Question.
"The Summoning Pact is an ability within the System that grants you the power to summon and control minions. These minions will be loyal to you and carry out your commands. They can assist you in various tasks, provide support in battles, and aid you in your journey. The System has designated a special bank to keep track of your minions, which we shall refer to as the Nexus of Minions or SERVITOR NEXUS. It will contain a comprehensive list of all your summoned minions, their abilities, and their status. Through the Summoning Pact, you will have the opportunity to assemble a formidable team to aid you in your endeavors. The System automatically grants you this power, and you will have the freedom to summon and control your minions as you see fit. Is there anything else you would like to know, Miller?" the System responded.
This brought a smile to Miller's face. He didn't know what to say or how to thank the System. He couldn't contain his excitement.
"Throw more light on the Nexus of Minions or SERVITOR NEXUS" Miller said to the System.
"The Nexus of Minions, also known as the Servitor Nexus, is a specialized bank within the System that serves as a repository for all your summoned minions. It is a comprehensive database that keeps track of each minion's information, including their abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and status. Think of it as a personal roster of your loyal companions. Through the Nexus, you will have easy access to detailed profiles of your minions, allowing you to strategize and utilize their unique skills effectively. You can summon, dismiss, and manage your minions through the Servitor Nexus, ensuring that you have a reliable and formidable team at your disposal. The System has designed this feature to enhance your abilities and empower you on your journey. Is there anything else you would like to inquire about, Miller?" the System explained.
There was still one more thing that crossed Miller's mind, he noticed that most of his abilities had levels, but this was doesn't. So he decided to ask?
"Why do some of my Abilities have levels and this one doesn't?" Miller asked the System.
"Technopathy is a sub-skill of Summoning Pact within the System. While Summoning Pact grants you the ability to summon and control minions, Technopathy specifically focuses on your power to communicate with and influence technological systems and devices. It allows you to tap into the realm of technology, manipulate and interact with electronic devices, and harness their capabilities to aid you in your journey. As a sub-skill, Technopathy complements your overall mastery of the Summoning Pact, enhancing your abilities in the realm of technology. It does not follow the traditional leveling system because its proficiency and potential are intertwined with your mastery of the Summoning Pact. The more you explore and utilize both abilities, the stronger and more versatile your Technopathy skills will become. Is there anything else you would like to inquire about, Miller?" the System clarified.
"Is there any limit to the number of minions I can have?" Miller asked.
"The number of minions you can summon and maintain is determined by your own capacity and the resources available within the System. Initially, you will have a limit to the number of minions you can summon, but as you progress and gain experience, that limit can expand. The System takes into account factors such as your skill level, proficiency, and overall growth to determine your capacity to command minions. Additionally, certain upgrades, achievements, or quests within the System may grant you the ability to increase your minion capacity. It is important to manage your minions effectively, considering their unique abilities and the tasks at hand. Remember, quality and synergy with your team are just as important as quantity. Is there anything else you would like to know, Miller?" the System answered.
"Thanks, but i have just one or two to ask. What does being an Avatar of ASTRAR mean and what is really a Throsk'Bok" Miller asked.
Miller felt a silence in his head, it was a clear sign that the System didn't want to tell him anything relating to those questions. This made Miller always wonder why the System would reveal most things to him and hide the Most important ones.
Was the System programmed in such way or was the System trying to protect him from the Truth.
