"Oh, then you have certainly underestimated your opponent, you imposter!"
Sylvia's words forced Corbin to stop walking. He paused for a few moments before he slowly turned to face Sylvia.
She stood there with a determined look on her face and fearlessness oozing out of her as she held her wand out and at the imposter.
"What are you thinking, Sylvia?" He asked calmly. "Are you trying to scare me with that tiny stick in your hand?"
Sylvia's lips twitched in irritation.
"It is better if you stop wasting my time, Sylvia. We have to go."
"Where are you taking me?" She demanded.
It was useless to play the game anymore. So Corbin replied. "To the well."
"There is indeed a well?" Sylvia was surprised to hear that.
Corbin nodded his head. "A well where I have taken my prey for over decades." He answered nonchalantly. "To kill them," he added emotionlessly.
Sylvia's jaw tightened. She should have understood it before.
