Sigerten burped after finishing the fourth meal of the day, leaving Corbin perplexed. How could he eat so much and didn't gain any weight?
Rubbing his belly, he sighed in satisfaction. "Corbin, I am full now. I don't think I will be able to walk for the next two hours."
Corbin frowned, glaring down at his friend. "You said you would help me with the shopping. Now how am I supposed to buy so many things from different places before the evening?
We have to go back home, remember? You have already wasted much of my time with your silly rendezvous at random shops."
Sylvia watched the exchange between the two men silently. Although Sigerten was unaffected by Corbin's outburst, she could see the tension on Corbin's face.
To handle the situation, she interjected, "Corbin, let him rest for a while. I will help you with the shopping. Just tell me what things I need to buy."
