This morning Sylvia woke up to the soft sunrays bathing her beautiful face. She yawned and glanced out through the open window and realised she forgot to lock it the previous night.
Smacking herself in the head, she chided herself for her mistake. She should be more careful because there was no help around if anything went wrong.
Today, Sylvia had no work. Lina decided to use this day for cleaning and dusting her house and spend the rest of the time in leisure. But Sylvia didn't want to keep herself locked in the security of her home.
She wanted to explore the beautiful town of Broughton. She hadn't gotten a chance to explore this place though she had heard enough about the natural beauty of the town and its surroundings.
She remembered Lina mentioning a lake that was not very far from where Sylvia lived. Lina used to go to the lakeside with her friends and mother when she was young.
