"Leo?"
"Leo, can you hear me?"
"Leo!"
The morning turned into a sunny afternoon, yet there was no clue of where Leo could be. Corbin wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead, running his finger over it while he exhaled through his mouth.
"Corbin, I don't think we can find Leo here." Smith said, finding a sturdy branch of a tree to rest upon.
Corbin's blue eyes roamed around the place. The thick green and tall trees dominated the thick strip just outside Broughton. The townspeople rarely came to this side of the forest as the place held many unpleasant rumours complimented by old folklore that talked about the unsatisfied souls roaming the forest.
It was very unlikely for a person to take shelter at such a place. If it wasn't for Leo, then they wouldn't have considered checking this forest, but given Leo's background of stealing and cheating, it was the best place for him to hide after committing a crime.
