"I can't believe I am doing this!" Vistula grumbled as she climbed the carriage.
Elijah was already inside it, wearing a smirk on his face.
"I am glad you are doing this."
She raised her gaze sharply at him and hissed while putting her bag beside her. "If my husband finds out about my lie and my marriage gets into a trouble then I swear I will kill you with my own hands and bury your body in my garden then plant a pomogranate tree on it."
Elijah's smirk turned into an amused smile before he laughed, adding to Vistula's irritation.
"Calm down Vistula. Nothing is going to go wrong."

"By the way what lie did you give to your husband?" He asked, genuinely curious.
Vistula removed her hat and placed it on her bag before ensuring her hair was perfect.
"I told him that I am going to meet one of my childhood best friend and will spend a few days with her."
