Sylvia watched the Sun setting behind the horizon, leaving only dim traces of its light behind. Her raven sat on the table, watching her with a meaningful gaze. She wasn't unaware of thoughts running in the bird's mind however, she was deliberately ignoring to acknowledge them.
But for how long she could go on like that when she herself had the same thoughts on her mind? Sylvia had no one else to talk to, and her raven knew her better than anyone else.
Sighing in resignation, she rested her head on the side of the window frame.
"Stop staring at me like that. Yes, I cannot take Corbin out of my mind. Lately, my attraction toward him is turning into something else, something stronger and... deep. It... It scares me sometimes.
