Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

In a meeting with his wife Hatun, Tiam started a conversation with her about the spiritual bond that connects Khaled and Nalan, and that he must find a solution to break this bond between them, so as not to hurt Nalan later if he faces Khaled in a sword fight in the upcoming missions. Hatun told him that yes, he must find a solution to that, and the spiritual bond between them must be cut, as she did not want her son to be hurt. She said that as he told her, if one of them is injured, the other feels the same pain and bleeds from the same place. Despite all these long years that have passed between them and that they have not grown up together, the spiritual bond between them is still very strong, but what is the solution to this?

Tiam told her, "I know the solution. I will go to one of the kings of the jinn who are under my service, and ask him to do something to break the spiritual bond between them." Tiyam left the meeting and went to his sanctuary where he prepares the jinn. He began reciting one of the powerful spells that enable him to summon a king of the great jinn. The Green King appeared before Tiyam and said to him, "What do you want, Tiam? Why did you call me?" Tiam greeted him and said, "I am eager to serve you, O Green King.

I want you to break the spiritual bond between Khaled and Nalan. You know that they are twins, but neither of them knows that, and I don't want either of them to know. That's why I want you to break that bond between them before starting the new mission. I don't want Nalan to be affected if something happens to Khaled. Please don't let me down and do this service for me." The Green King replied, "I will do this service for you, Tiam, but I don't know the side effects that may affect one of them later, after breaking that spiritual bond." Tiam asked him, "What do you mean by side effects?" The Green King explained that the breaking of the spiritual bond between them is like a rope that connects their hearts, as if their souls are one. Even if he can separate this bond between them, it will have side effects on them, such as fatigue and lack of focus at first, but then they will recover their health as if they were separate souls with no connection to each other.

Do you want me to start separating them?" Tiam answered affirmatively, "Yes, start separating the spiritual bond between them before the next mission." The king said, "Then I will leave now, and the separation will take place in a quarter of an hour from now. You will know for yourself when Khaled and Nalan meet together. You can hurt Khaled in his hand and see if Nalan will be affected or not. But do this as if it were a coincidence and not planned, so that Khaled won't suspect anything."

Thank Tiam the Green King for his response to his request. The Green King left Tiam's presence, and Tiam went to his bedroom to see Hatun. He told Hatun that what he wanted had been done, but he had to arrange something to make Khalid get hurt in his hand and for Nalan to be present in the same place to see if the bond between them was really severed or not. Hatun said, "Don't worry, I'll take care of it without anyone noticing that it was arranged."

She told him that they would all gather for lunch now and invite Khaled with them. Everyone would be at the table, and she would have one of the servants drop something on Khaled while serving food. Then, the servant would start cleaning the place on Khaled, and there would be something like a needle sticking to the cloth he was cleaning with.

The servant would accidentally injure Khaled, and then they would see if Nalan feels anything or not. Tiam smiled at her and said it was a great idea, and they should execute it now because there wasn't much time left. Hatun ordered the servants to prepare the table, then called Nalan, Khaled, Wahaj, and Yasmina to the table. The servants followed the orders, and everyone gathered around the table. Hatun ordered one of the servants to pour some soup for everyone, and when it was Khaled's turn, the servant dropped some soup on Khaled's clothes and hand. The servant quickly apologized and said he didn't notice the needle in the cleaning cloth, and he asked for Khaled's forgiveness.

The servant started cleaning, but the needle in the cloth injured Khaled's hand. Khaled was in pain and asked the servant what was in the cloth. The servant apologized and said he didn't know how the needle got into the cleaning cloth and asked for Khaled's forgiveness. Meanwhile, Yasmina was in pain and got up, brought a clean cloth, and rushed to clean Khaled's hand from the blood. Hatun looked at her angrily and asked her why she was interfering. She had warned Yasmina not to intervene in this matter.

Yasmina apologized to her mother after finishing cleaning Khaled's hand and bandaging it. Nalan remained silent and didn't speak. Tiam asked him if he was okay and why he was silent. Nalan said he was fine but felt lost and couldn't focus. Maybe due to the fatigue from his last task, Tiam realized that these were the side effects that the Green King had warned him about. Teyam told his son, "Don't worry, my son. You'll be fine. You can go to your room and take a break and then be ready with Khaled for the new mission."

Nalan agreed with his father and went to his room. Wahaj was looking at his father and Nalan, and he started to feel jealous of Nalan, as he was getting a lot of attention from his father, but not the same attention that he was getting. He started to see that his father thought Nalan was much better than him, and that he would be the king after him. It seems that jealousy began to take over Wahaj's heart. Wahaj asked his father while they were still gathered around the table, "Father, do you love me as much as you love Nalan?" Tiam and Hutun were surprised by the question. Tiam replied, "Of course, my son, there is no difference between you and him in my eyes. I love you all equally." Wahaj said, "But Father, you don't care about me as much as you care about Nalan. You give him more love than me." Teyam began to think about what Wahaj said. What is this? Is he repeating the same mistake as his father? Will he do the same thing his father did to him when there was a rift between him and his brother Salman? Teyam did not notice the treatment. He forgot that he did not give his son the same amount of love.

He forgot that Wahaj was his own son and not Nalan. However, he gave Nalan more love and attention. He had fallen into the same mistake that his father had made without realizing it. What a fool he was! That's how Teyam was talking to himself inside. Tiam apologized to his son Wahaj and said to him, "I apologize to you if you ever felt that I preferred Nalan over you, but that was not my intention. You are my son and my beloved as well. You and Yasmina are a piece of my heart. I have no one but you two, and Nalan is your elder brother. Don't ever get angry with him or feel jealous, my son. He is your big brother." Wahaj heard his father's words, but jealousy still lingered in his heart. He pretended to have heard the words and agreed with them, but he still held a grudge against Nalan, as he saw Nalan taking a bigger place than him.

Everyone finished their meal and Nalan went to his room to rest, and Khaled also went to his room. Wahaj went to his room too, but he began to feel that he wanted to be the one with the highest status in this house, not Nalan.

The devil started whispering to Wahaj that he deserved to be the ruler of the house, not Nalan, and he should make a plan to get rid of Nalan. However, not now, but after completing the tasks he was doing with Khaled. Perhaps Khaled would get rid of Nalan in one of the tasks, and if he failed to do so, Wahaj would have to come up with a plan himself.

Time passed and each of them was lost in thought. They did not know the end of all this conflict and whether what they were fighting for was worth all this trouble. Why did they want revenge on each other? When hatred and resentment enter the hearts of humans, the devil takes over their lives and moves them in the direction of bloodshed, and they carry out what he whispers to them without stopping for a moment to think about the consequences. It is the eternal war between human beings and the cursed Satan.

Today was the rest day allowed by this entity, and Khaled, Nalan, and Tiam were all to head to the battlefield to find out what the next mission was and where they would go this time. They all arrived at the battlefield, Khaled opened his book, Nalan opened his book as well, and Tiam stood a little away waiting for the start of the fifth mission.

When Khaled and Nalan opened their books, nothing appeared. Khaled and Nalan were surprised why the book seemed blank and why the words for the fifth mission did not appear. But suddenly the entity appeared to them and said that the words would not appear until he gave them the following instructions. This mission would be separate for each of them, but the goal was the same. Each of them would be on a different path, but one of them would have to reach the goal before the other and then return to the battlefield. Khaled and Nalan felt a little anxious this time, as they would not be together on this mission and each of them would be on a different path. The entity ordered them to open their books and read their mission. Khaled opened his book, and the words began to appear to him, "Oh chosen one, your path today is to the north. You must go to the red pyramid located in the north of the city. The arrows and directions will guide you as you move until you get there. When you arrive, open the book so that the rest of the mission will appear." Khaled followed what was written and began to head to the north, where arrows and directions showed him the way. It was now Nalan's turn to open his book and read his mission. Nalan opened the book, and the words appeared to him as well, "Oh second chosen one, your path is to the south, where the white castle is in the south of the city. Follow the arrows for directions as you move, and when you arrive there, open the book, and then you will know the rest."

Khaled followed what was written and began heading north, where arrows would appear and indicate directions for him. It was now Nalan's turn to open his book and read his mission. He opened the book and also saw the words: "Oh, second chosen one, your path is to the south where the White Castle is located in the southern part of the city. Head there, and the arrows will guide you as you move. When you arrive, open the book, and you will know the rest."

Nalan headed south, following the arrows that indicated the directions, until he reached the White Castle. Both Khaled and Nalan had to open their books to know the rest of their mission. Khaled opened the book to read the next part of the task. Words began to appear before him: "Now, oh chosen one, your goal is to enter the Red Pyramid. Your task is to rescue the diamond child from the miraculous river, where there is a child whose body sparkles and shines like a diamond. This blessed child was kidnapped by one of the creatures living in the miraculous river. You will face some dangers inside the Red Pyramid. You must overcome them all to reach the miraculous river and rescue the child from its captor. If you succeed, you must return with the child to the battlefield, and there you will know the rest."

At the same time, Nalan opened his book to read the rest of his mission: "Oh, chosen one, you have now arrived at the White Castle. Your task is to enter the castle and face whatever comes your way with courage until you reach the miraculous river. There, you must rescue the diamond child, a blessed child whose body sparkles and shines like a diamond, and who was kidnapped by one of the creatures living in this miraculous river. If you succeed, you must take the child with you to the battlefield, and there you will know the rest."

Both Nalan and Khalid read their mission and were now aware of their task. Khalid entered the Red Pyramid, relying on Allah's help to face the dangers he would encounter. As he made his way inside, he saw red and green lights on both sides of the path, and a red carpet beneath his feet. Suddenly, the lights turned into red and green creatures that attacked Khalid. He drew his sword and fought fiercely against these creatures, striking them down one by one. With every creature he defeated, he advanced a step further until he had eliminated all of them and reached the end of the long entrance.

Meanwhile, Nalan entered the White Castle and found everything around him to be white - the walls, the carpet, and the lights. As he advanced further inside, the statues on both sides began to move and attack him. The statues transformed into white soldiers wielding strong swords. Nalan fought them with his powerful sword and also fought with a dagger in his other hand. He battled the soldiers on his right and tried to strike one on his left. Finally, he defeated them all and advanced further into the White Castle.

And when Khaled defeated the green and red creatures, he headed towards the entrance where there was a gate that he had to pass through to get deeper and deeper into the pyramid until he reached the child in the amazing river. He approached the gate and began to open it, but the gatekeeper appeared to him. This guard was a huge creature with a tail resembling that of a crocodile, two large ears like those of an elephant, and eyes like those of a pig, and it had two breasts like those of a gorilla.

He said to Khaled in his terrifying voice that he had to defeat him before he could enter through this gate. Khaled started fighting this strange monster that resembled a beast until he could reach inside the gate, but the height difference between Khaled and the monster was significant, and Khaled's blows didn't affect it much. Khaled thought of jumping on the back of this beast, as its size was like that of a cat to an elephant. Khaled climbed on the back of the beast until he reached its head, and here Khaled raised his sword and approached from behind and hit the monster in its eye. The sword struck the eye, and the beast began to bleed and lose balance, falling to the ground. Khaled held onto the hair of the beast until it fell to the ground, then Khaled got off the beast and was able to open the gate and enter. Khaled could hear the sound of a crying child, but he did not know where this sound was coming from or where the river was, as he could not see anything beyond.

On the other side, Nalan was advancing towards the White Castle after overcoming the first obstacle of defeating the white soldiers. There was a high wall with a gate at the end that Nalan needed to reach in order to enter and reach the child. Nalan approached the gate at the end of the high wall, but two lion guards were standing in front of the gate, and there was fire between the lions and the gate.

The lions attacked Nalan, but he fought back with his strong sword, dodging their attacks and striking them with his sword whenever they came near. With each strike, the lions were wounded and bleeding heavily until they became weak and fell to the ground. Nalan waited until the lions fell, then Nalan had to put out the fire to be able to enter the gate. He found a pile of sand in a corner far from the gate and used his shawl to take sand and put it on the fire until it was extinguished completely. Then Nalan opened the gate and entered, where he could hear the child's voice but did not know where it was coming from. Meanwhile, Khalid was on the other side, looking for the source of the voice, but there was an invisible glass barrier between them, so they could not see each other. Both of them were moving towards the source of the voice.

Here, water began to appear under their feet, increasing gradually until it covered half of them. They could still hear the sound of the crying child. Khalid started swimming in the water and Nalan followed suit, realizing that this was the amazing river that appears and disappears. Khalid swam towards the source of the sound until he found himself in the depths of the river, looking around everywhere and also reaching the sound.

While he was swimming, Nalan felt a sense of lack of focus as he approached the source of the sound. As Khalid got closer to the child, Nalan felt himself losing balance and feared drowning because he could no longer concentrate. Khalid approached the source of the sound and found something shining in a cave beneath the water. He had to swim more to get there since he could not control his breathing any longer.

Khalid approached the cave, where the sound was coming from, and found the child sleeping in a bed. This child's body shone like a diamond, and his face was very beautiful. Khalid approached and held the child while Nalan entered the cave and found that Khalid had already taken the child. Nalan tried to take the child from Khalid, but Khalid pushed him forcefully and swam quickly to the surface. Nalan tried to compose himself and swam upwards quickly to catch up with Khalid.

The river began to disappear, and the water vanished. Khalid and Nalan found themselves facing each other. Khalid quickly opened the book to take him to the battlefield, and Nalan did the same. They found themselves in the middle of the battlefield, but the diamond child was with Khalid. The creature appeared to announce the result, saying, "Well done, Khalid. You have saved the diamond child, and by doing so, you have won this task. However, you and Nalan are now tied, with forty points each. In the sixth and penultimate mission, there will be no tie, but you will not know the task now. The sixth mission will be in two days. So, be prepared from now on."
